I've made a new steam account, I don't have that many friends/games on steam anyway so I don't have much to lose. For me it worked, It doesn't show on my bungie.net account at all, which scared me when I've done it but when I started up the game everything was there. Refunded SK on my main steam account and bought it on a new one, I have no problems anymore, I'm enjoying the game now but.... this is not the way to go. Most people have been waiting or are still waiting on a fix or they refunded it. It's crazy that people need to go to such lengths to actually play the game or not at all and leave Bungie behind. Bungie this is [u]unacceptable [/u] , you guys should've been looking for an official fix for this and just saying that you need to make a new steam account is just stupid, if you guys at bungie don't know this, it's not a fix, it's a way around the actual problem. Anyway, I'm sorry for all the people who have refunded the game or still waiting for a fix. I'm family sharing my steam accounts, it's not a big deal for me but I can imagine for some people it is and they're absolutely right.

  • I refunded SK on Steam and will wait and see how Bungie decides to fix this. Making a new Steam account is us fixing their problem.

    To be fair with every day that passes without any official response or even any assurance that they are eventually will fix this issue, the option of just walking away, forgetting all the money and time that I've spend on Destiny 2 and never touching Bungie product again seems like and obvious "fix" for this issue. Yes, I'm one of those who bought Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe for 100€ and all that I got was a lousy sword and "sucker, this game will be F2P in a year" emblem. Then pre-ordered SK DLC for Destiny 2 as soon as it dropped (14 days have already passed) and bought Forsaken DLC, despite barely playing the game (in 2 years only finished D2 campaign and started Curse of Osiris I think). So it's a lot easier for me then a lot of you guys who sank hundreds of hours into the game but still it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth because I don't like when companies just take my money and don't provide any customer support at all. And this is exactly what Bungie is doing by not providing any direct answer to what I, and people having the same issue as me are supposed to do now other than "create a new steam account" (and try to get your money back from steam, good luck with that, lol).

  • I took your advice and did the same yesterday. It actually works, but I dont think its an acceptable "fix" at all lol.

  • Same mate. See you on the moon once Im done with the new light stuff :) remade one of my characters so that I can experience the game again. With all my unlocks and materials from the transfer lol
