Hello Dark. Thanks for reaching out to us for information. Our records show that your currently linked Battle.net account hasn't been migrated yet, but your Steam account has. It appears the Battle.net account that migrated to your Steam account was Lupi#1461. This information should have been shown to you during the migration process. Unfortunately, once a platform account has been migrated, it's not possible to migrate with that account again, so you will need to create a new Steam account and link it to your Bungie profile to perform PC migration.

  • That makes no sense. You've migrated your account and it fails so make a new steam ID to migrate to? Why not just let people re-do the migration to their account? How on earth is it better to make a new steam account when I've had the same one for over 10 years? This is not a solution it is a work around.

  • I will not do that, so either fix it so I can get my characters migrated WITHOUT a new steam, orrrrrr, give me the money back for Forsaken, thank god I didn't pre-purchase ShadowKeep.

  • Update: they've since deleted all my characters pre move and the dlc I had purchased. Keep an eye on your accounts I think some shady stuff is going on. I dont know if this is temporary or maybe they're just pissed and trying to make an example of me

    This is not a solution, it is a spit in the face of all the players supporting you for several years from the start of the game. Please make it possible to transfer our characters on top of those that were mistakenly tied to our steam accounts. No one wants to produce a lot of steam accounts!

  • If you are trying to say migrate to a new steam account, sure. But if they messed up your steam like me, and you unlink steam from BUNGIE, then try to link with the same Steam account... it will not work.

  • I have exactly the same issue, I don't even own a second Blizzard account, clearly another one of your mess ups. You obviously don't value your customers. How can such a good game have incompetent development team and support team? Not going to bother waiting anymore, I am refunding the latest expansion.

  • I think what is happening is they partially transferred data to your Steam account. They registered that account with your Bungie. So, their system is "seeing" the old broken transfer as an entirely different Blizz transfer. In effect, to their system you have "two blizzard accounts" because one is a broken and tied to steam and the other is the "real" unbroken data on their system.

  • how is this acceptable??? the only solution we get after a week is make a new steam account? that it? nine days of waiting and this is all we get? the barest of explanations and just "make a new account" as the only solution?

  • I have ONE battle.net account and ONE steam account. YOU caused the errors, are unable to fix them and are now telling people to create a steam account exclusively for your game. -> NOT going to happen. I have waited long enough for this shit to be fixed. Goodbye Bungie.

  • Since there is no support ticket system is it possible to check which account got transferred? I'm having the same issue where first it tells me my bnet account is empty and now it says that my steam account has already been migrated but my characters are not even there.

  • The fact that the new steam account doesn't even work (which is wrong to begin with) means that you guys are literally stealing from me because I paid for a service that now you've stripped due to your laziness. I'm not going to stand for this kind of treatment. This problem isn't going away and shame on you for trying to sweep it under the rug after giving us false hope.
