I think your definition of "scout rifle range" is incorrect. Not a single hand cannon could shoot across Equinox. Hand cannons did need a slight range nerf, but don't act like you were getting mapped across large maps. You might have gotten mapped across one of the many small maps, sure. All I'm saying is the range dropoff is ridiculous, and the dropoff on Memento Mori, an exotic perk, is even steeper. The perk has no function whatsoever after 28 meters, and it starts to see dropoff itself at 25 or so. That limitation on Ace is gonna kill it even more on console.

I mean, I can agree with that. My issue isn't really with the range nerf. It's how steep the damage falloff is that bothers me. That, and the fact that Memento Mori got EVEN steeper dropoff that makes it do NO additional damage past the same point.

Pulse rifles feel the same way when compared to scout rifles.
