Weasel can occur if you are online when a ban is placed.
Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific
Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason.
There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans.
Bans are lifetime for that account

Edited by Ice-Design: 10/3/2019 8:00:55 PMThis is very strange. I do not have nor ever had any of those programms. I'm completly against all kinds of cheating. I honestly think this is some kind of error I am getting during loging in. This can't be right. In that case it would be even more helpfull to talk to someone of the Bungee Team, to clarify the issue. Can anyone help me to establish a contact?
-
They may see the post and reply, they reply to a few here and there. Keep in mind, for it to have been an error, the software had to fail and the person reviewing it had to fail so it is unlikely.
-
Mistakes happen. I am not angry on anyone. I just want this problem to be resolved that I can play again.
-
While I am not saying it is impossible, I will warn you to temper your expectations. In over 2 years of helping in the forums I have only seen a handful of bans overturned... out of thousands.
-
So there should be a way to reach some kind of customer service right? They can not sell a product and then deny the access to it, without any reasons. I just need to talk to someone who can clarify and resolve the issue together with me.
So there should be a way to reach some kind of customer service right?
The forums are the only way to contact Bungie, ban posts are relatively low priority.
They can not sell a product and then deny the access to it, without any reasons.
actually they can, it is in the SLA, but they dont. There is a reason for your ban, TBH you would have a faster chance of finding it by searching your PC for applications that were running. If you are unsure which could have caused the ban, you are welcome to post a list here and myself or others can try to help narrow down the list for you.
-
But thats the point. I do not have any malformed software running. I posted a list somwhere up, as a response already, what programs are running in the background.
-
That list is very short for a gaming PC. the only thing borderline would be your keyboard software and that would only be if it allowed scripts. The software does not need to be malware to get you banned. There are applications that are allowed by other games and software that is legit that can have alternate uses. Apps like Artmoney, AHK, CheatEngine, Borderlands Commander, etc, all are fine for some games or are legit applications but all have also been tied to bans from D2.

Well I try not to have to many programms running in the background and keep my PC clean. So yes, this are all the programms running in the background. I am not sure if the ROCCAT Swarm software can do macros, but that would be very suprising if Bungie bans all customers of Roccat for that software. It's mandatory for the high end gaming keyboard of Roccat to work. I still hope this still is a system error, or someething like that and that Bungie can fix that or at least help me on the issue here. I'm a loyal Destiny player since the beginning of Destiny 2 and like this game until today. And I never used any king of cheating software.

I want to push this topic. Could a moderator please reply to the issue? Thanks in advance.

A moderator wont really get involved unless the post needs some moderation due to code of conduct violations.
A moderator wont really get involved unless the post needs some moderation due to code of conduct violations.
I try not to violate any rules in my posts. If I did anyhow, I don't know where or how. To give a little bit more information. I am absulutley sure not to have had any kind of malware or cheat programs. Not for Destiny 2 and not for any other game. I am willingly offering any kind of System-Logs I can provide to help Bungie's support team to solve the issue. I also have a very good and stable connection here in Germany on my PC with my provider so I doubt this could be an issue. And I never received a single warning from Bungie on any malicious software, connection problems or any other kind of misbehaviour at any time. I never had any problems during playing on Battle.net and the account move to steam went through like a charm. Upon launch day I had the same problems like lots of players with BEAVER disconnects. So I stoped playing and resumed a couple of hours lates, as Bungie declared the problems as fixed. On Thursday I had two "Connection to server" disconnects but after restarting the game everithing went fine. Until I got a WEASEL error in the evening and from then on my account was banned. I don't know why this happened but I want to help so solve the problem by all the ways Bungie is asking me to.
