Are you referring to the cost of Masterworking armor? The overall cost of infusion with the new Upgrade Modules still uses the same currencies. Glimmer + Planetary Mat + Enhancement Core but the total cost is slightly less than before.
Masterworking Armor 2.0 is what utilizes the new currencies. Happy to hear feedback on that, just want to make sure I'm understanding correcly. :)

What about the comments of how a full set of armour 2.0 costs 1000 cores JUST for the last two bars of each piece? That's 40x what it cost to do an entire piece of armour before in terms of cores. No one is happy about it afaik

Pretty sure this is what they meant. I keep refering to infusion myself instead of masterwork. It's a habit. Lol

Edited by Quirky_Honor: 10/4/2019 2:33:24 AMMaybe something to help PVP only players? I don't care to go into a planet to repeat the same missions for an hour to grind materials. Maybe sponsors? Oh, like the clans! That would be nice. Let them go and get materials, and I'll keep having fun shooting stuff. Just me though. I get PVP is only part of this game, but it's 90% why I play the game.

Genius idea. They could also make it like d1 factions and tie it into the weapon foundries.
-
I was inspired 😭 lol

Drop upgrade modules. And don't put Cores back into infusion. There is no reason for infusion to be that costly. Just do it like RoI, like others suggested. Using shitty blues without the perks we want is anti-fun. What happened to "play your way?" And also, lose the inventory caps. That's a solution in search of a problem.

Edited by DeathPony07: 10/3/2019 3:41:23 PMJust use the infusion system from Rise of Iron, and the masterwork system from Year 1 of D2. Why do you guys insist on making things annoying? We want to grind for weapons, not power levels. Take note from Borderlands. Farmable bosses in the open world. Each one has a different weapon drop. I just want to level up and play the game, not play Material Farming Simulator. Masterworking isn't even worth the massive cost to do it.

The made it easier....
-
Edited by DeathPony07: 10/3/2019 3:59:38 PMNo. No, they didn't. Infusion from Rise of Iron was easy and it worked great. You could infuse your other characters with gear for any class. Actual progression, without an annoying, pointless grind. Imagine that.

This is d2 not d1 Yikes, go back to d1
-
Edited by DeathPony07: 10/3/2019 4:06:02 PMNo u. D1 was better than the dumpster fire we have now.
-
Edited by rZI3: 10/3/2019 4:07:49 PMHa I’m all for d2 and don’t have a problem with the infusion, let alone comparing it against d1 Fool, then go back to your d1 and stop crying
-
No u.
-
😂🤣🤷♂️

I said in a post. Make it so same type weapons can be infused for free. Auto rifle to auto rifles, sniper to sniper, and so on.
-
just remove infusion except when its twin items and leave that cost the same.
-
It just seems like an unnecessary step in the process.
-
why i cant infuse exotic on legendaries without paying full price infusion... it sucks so much... will never use my guns agains... biggest let down

I’m honestly sticking with my current build before shadowkeep dropped. Haven’t bought the dlc, no reason to if I’m playing pvp. Way too much new stuff goin on that didn’t need to be implemented. It just feels messy.
-
Exactly. Just get what you already got but 2.0
-
Nice they are so active in the forum.
-
I'd rather pay more than have to constantly visit the stupid vendor.
-
Everything regarding this just feels like a mess. Ask the team why they were -blam!-ing around with this instead of developing shit people actually wanted.
-
Even if it does equal out to the same amount of stuff, there was no need to add another step. Other than to confuse people.
