Hello.
EDIT: Season Passes are Silver purchases. As a result of this, they cannot be shared with other accounts. Destiny 2 has never officially supported game sharing either so we are unable to assist you with this matter.

Edited by paRado_OxX: 10/3/2019 8:04:27 AMWhy is there no response from Bungie except from the silver-tied SP? You hopefully realise that this affects already many people. I’m following here many posts of people who didn’t get informed before purchase about this unique situation for console players. Even families with 3-4 members playing it on the same console. Now they have to purchase 10€ for each account plus 10€ for each following SP. Do the math! This is completely unfair! Btw, I’ve contacted you already through twitter, and guess what, no response! Customer friendly? Right now, not at all! I haven’t played the game since I realised you messed up with the SP on the 2nd Acc on the same console. I would like to continue the story with my clan mates. I’m falling behind. Why is there no response from Bungie except from the silver-tied SP bot answers? hopefully, you realise that this affects already many people. I’ve contacted you already through twitter, and guess what no response. I haven’t played the game since I realised you messed up with the SP on the 2nd account, on the same console. I would like to continue the story with my clan mates. I’m falling behind the progress and going to miss all D2 SK related features here e.g. Raid. Could initiate a solution that could help us out here?

Edited by Sgt_Paradox14: 10/3/2019 9:22:46 AMI find it amusing that bots are the ones answering to microtransaction related issues/questions with copy-pasted replies, but actual people from Bungie that should be helping are on other non-issue parts of the forum. The Bungie Help Twitter account is beyond useless other than to inform players of server issues or game bugs/issues. Bungie Help? More like Bungie Noticeboard. The people affected by Bungie's screwed up Season Pass should be addressed in the upcoming TWAB or else they're turning a blind eye on this issue. Right now, I'm on the same boat as you, I'll just spend my time in Destiny 2 until the current season ends and will pick up Destiny again in the next generation console, far off but would hopefully be worth the wait.

It’s sold as a package on ps store for USD with no mention of silver and the same standard license agreement as all other titles that can be shared. Just another heads up, the $10 you pay for the season pass on the sub accounts is only for undying. You still have to pay $10 for each of the other 3 seasons. So a total of $40 for each sub account. Pretty -blam!-ed up of bungie to do this. 😡
-
Edited by CVicieux: 10/2/2019 9:50:51 PMI did not purchase my seasons passes with silver, I purchased the digital deluxe edition which mentioned that it “included 4 season passes” which would be “applied on login”. I purposely logged in first with a different account on my PS4 to have them applied to that account. This did not work, and instead this account that only serves as a primary ps4 account has the season passes and no other account in my playstation can access them. Again, this was not a “silver purchase” this was a PS4 Store direct purchase of a Digital Deluxe Edition. Either let it be shared with my other accounts or refund me for the season passes.
-
I preordered Shadowkeep Deluxe for my son on his ps4 which he plays under a sub account. No one plays anything on master account. He cannot access season pass and is very upset. There was no problem with doing it this way with forsaken and the annual pass. If this is not fixed I would like a refund so I can purchase it on his sub account. I just have gotten him into this game over the summer while I have been playing since D1 beta. If I have to pay another $60 to get this right then I may reconsider my commitment to Destiny. Simply saying that you don't support gamesharing isn't sufficient as it ignores the realities of many people, especially younger players of this game on ps4. We are not trying to rip you off. We, however, are starting to feel ripped off since we have encountered a problem accessing paid content for the first time under a setup that has not previously caused any problems. I would ask that you fix this problem. Thank you.

Buying silver? I just bought shadowkeep, and when I joined the game my season pass was already active, I didn't buy anything from eververse with silver.

Edited by paRado_OxX: 10/2/2019 4:03:52 PMWow, this just WOW! This is how you reply towards customers, who have paid the deluxe edition? You can’t be serious, and saying this is not your matter. You’re receiving our money at the end. It is definitely your matter! There must be a misunderstanding/change after introducing all cross save options causing this major problem to so many paying customers on CONSOLE, who were unaware of this NEW AND NOT PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED seasonpass restrictions! You have introduced theses options, you’re responsible for the lacking information of seasonpass restriction. This is just unfair to all paying customers, who were looking forward to play this game on the 2nd account or families with multiple accounts ON THE SAME CONSOLE. All the triumphs and exos (from Forsaken) were obtained with my 2nd account and they’re simply gone! Btw, I have logged into D2 SK with my second account, obtained all pre-order bonuses, but not able to obtain the current seasonpass and obviously future seasonpasses (I bought DDE). Could you help us somehow together with Sony (and probably XBOX as well)? We would like to play this with our already paid editions including seasonpass(es). This can’t be your last answer!?

straight up misleading the consumer which entitles anyone to a full refund regardless of it being digital or physical content. if there is no fine print upon purchase or upon payment page stating (SP or whatever is not sharable) this would be fine but sadly no one has stated this leaving the assumption up to the current system (family sharing) which currently states that it is possible. So as it stands you have one system saying yes to this and no one currently saying no. Last I checked they either enforce there own rules or they place a disclaimer upon purchase and refund anyone who was mislead by this move. It may be Ok in the US or wherever but we have consumer protection in the UK/EU and I expect it to be enforced correctly. and in the UK its not hard for anyone to file a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman who if found in favour of the claimant will get there money back+compensation. And just so your aware - https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0002-CUSA05042_00-D2SHADOWDLXPRE01?PlatformPrivacyWs1=exempt&psappver=19.05.0&scope=sceapp&smcid=psapp%3Alink%20menu%3Astore quote 'Software subject to license (us.playstation.com/softwarelicense). Online features require an account and are subject to terms of service and applicable privacy policy (playstationnetwork.com/terms-of-service & playstationnetwork.com/privacy-policy). One-time license fee for play on account’s designated primary PS4™ system and other PS4™ systems when signed in with that account.' Again because the SP is included with the purchase of Shadowkeep there must be a disclaimer excluding the SP from the sharing system which there is currently no mention of, therefor anything purchased within the shadowkeep DLC (SP also) is currently stated to be 'sharable' please know the difference between false advertisement because its clear you do not. @BNGHelp6 I've always played Destiny from 2 accounts because I was in 2 different clans. My main account, that's tied to my PlayStation Plus to make purchases, I no longer play Destiny on that account because the clan is dead but I have to use that account to purchase content. I immediately loaded the game from my 2nd account, which is this one. I only noticed I didn't have the season pass last night while raiding with my clan and they all had the exotic hand cannon. Do I really have to buy 1,000 silver to unlock the season pass on my 2nd account that I only play Destiny on?
-
I happened the same to me. Basically, you mean it was a waste of money. Annual pass year 2, its worked out different way... Why this content not?
-
Where was that stated on the Pre-Order/purchase page?
-
Hi there. As this is not the way in which previous content was available (Y1 and Y2 passes were shared over account) I have a few questions: Are you able to discuss the motivation for this change? Was the player base made explicitly aware that this would be the case moving forward? (If so where/when were we informed?) Will Bungie ever make an attempt to address this problem and if so will that be before the release of other content such as the raid or the new activity. Do you have any suggestions on what the players who are currently affected by this can do? Surely there is a better solution than "just buy it again". Thank you for your effort and commitment to the community.
-
Well thought out post/questions. Hopefully they're respond. This sucks!
-
My first account is mexican, i played destiny since 2014 (in 2014 does not exist psn El Salvador), but i live in the el salvador, and only can purchase the game and the expansion in the psn store of the El Salvador, in this point I think: Bungie lost the head. Repeat it´s imposible for my buy silver, games, for anti moneylaundry politicals. Sorry for my english..
-
No the season pass is NOT a silver purchase, in the deluxe edition of shadowkeep it clearly states: and the season pass of season of undying. If you claim it’s a silver purchase then you have committed false advertising. Now correct me if I’m wrong but false advertising is a far more serious offence then admitting you’ve screwed something up and will fix it
-
Edited by toneDef Weary: 10/2/2019 2:33:28 PMIf I'm not mistaken, they give you silver to purchase the season pass in-game. So long as they are giving you the product advertised, there is no false advertisement. Edit - I'll agree that it is a poor system, however.
-
I pre-ordered the digital deluxe version from main PlayStation Plus account. Booted up from my second account that I only play destiny on. No season/annual pass content only pre-ordered bonus items. I'd just like a refund so I can repurchase Shadowkeep on my 2nd account that I actually play destiny on, no more no less.
-
You should still be able to game-share Shadowkeep itself. It's the season passes that have been altered. At least, that's my understanding of it. Seems things are a bit off kilter yet.
-
Yeah I can play Shadowkeep on my 2nd main Destiny account but not my season pass stuff. I've always purchased and play Destiny this was. I other dlc or past passes gave me a problem. Nor was I aware of such change. All my card info is stored on my main account. I don't or am I trying to game share. I'm in 2 destiny clans with 2 different psn accounts. I'd just like a refund so I can repurchase on my 2nd account I play destiny on.
-
Yeah, with the changes that Bungie made to the way season passes operate, you won't be able to share those anymore. Would that I could even tell you where to go for a refund like that. I don't think it would be a PSN thing, as you now buy the seasons through Eververse. They really screwed the pooch on this one, it seems.
-
Wish I would have known that I would've just made the purchase from my 2nd account even though I logged in first from 2nd account to actually play smh.
-
I feel ya man. There was info out there, but they definitely should have been more clear and at an earlier time than a couple days to a week prior.
