Create a weapon rotation of year 2 gear in Menagerie moving forward into Shadowkeep
I love the fact that you can farm specific items that you want but it would be even better if you cycled through different weapons week to week so that we can farm our favorite gears of year 2 as we move forward into Shadowkeep.
Week 1 (The current list)
- SMG
- Sniper rifle
- Hand Cannon
- Rocket Launcher (3) + Fixed Odds
- Sidearms
- Fusion rifles
- Shotguns
Week 2 (New cycle)
- SMG->Scout rifle
- Sniper rifle-> Pulse Rifle
- Hand cannon-> Auto Rifle
- Rocker Launchers+Fixed Odds-> Swords + Crooked Fang
- Sidearms-> Combat Bows
- Fusion rifles-> Grenade Launchers (who doesn't want a god roll Edge Transit amiright?)
- Shotguns-> Random with a chance for Exotic drop
The rune text would switch each week to reflect the new farmable weapon type for that week. This would create interest each week to visit Menagerie for that elusive roll on year 2 gear that you would like to add to your backpack.

5 RepliesThey will not listen to your idea. They ignore any and all feedback, no matter how good, unless maybe if they can monetise it, like the cross save. People have been asking for D1 planets to be added to D2 since launch. Shadowkeep is proof that they want us to pay again $40+ for each planet that we already paid for D1. Anyway you look at it, it’s a clear-cut scam. Unfortunately, some fanboys will continue to be willfully blind to this.

I agree, but that's not their business model. Content is hard because they're too stubborn to update their engine, so they focus on new material to sell over keeping old encounters relevant. They already made their money on menagerie, applying resources to updating it might make people happier but it doesn't make them more money. (unless you quit, but come on they know they have their core players that'll hang around no matter what)

1 ReplyVendors first, then this. But yeah it would be nice if we still got around 4-5 per activity. Even 3 would be more than acceptable. It made me feel like I was actually getting rewards for 10-20 mins of work.

1 ReplySaid this. I agree. Also said they should include things like forge weapons and reckoning weapons. People hated that idea.... But a rotating pool wouldn't devalue them. It would just make it easier for 1 week out of every 6 or so.

I hope they either do this - update Menagerie - or increase drop rates in general. It kinda feels like they have increased the rates but more wouldn't hurt 😜 (i've gotten Go Figure three times this last week or so and actually found one i like). Regarding a reply mentioning the forges, it's called use Bergusia for forging with Maximum Temper. Sometimes it's slow but between using Gambit for calibration and something like Risk Runner for the forge ignition you're practically guaranteed two weapon drops, one being a possible curated roll.

2 RepliesI dont like weekly rotation. If you cant play that week you need to wait one more, 2 or even more weeks so you can get what you want/need. Timegated activities arent a great idea at all, we already have boss rotations in most activities and thats enough. I support however the idea of adding more loot to the pool tho and adding more great content like menagerie.

1 ReplyI like ur thinking but first, can we get random rolls on yr1 weapons? There is a ton of weapons that the vendors provide that desperately need random rolls added to them. Then Bungie can focus on BA, Reckoning and Menagerie.

3 RepliesDano2point0 You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
