Guys let's be honest, the rest of d2 will be bungie milking us dry.

Bungie is going to keep destiny 2 on life support for as long as they can after shadowkeep. With the new battle pass format and seasonal DLC's, bungie will drip feed content and milk us as long as they can without really adding much or evolving the game in any meaningful way. Yes we are getting armor 2.0 and finishers, but outside of that and the upcoming sandbox changes, is destiny really evolving? I feel bad for d2 players on the forums that come up with really great ideas that would expand the game world, or create balancing ideas to make the classes feel more distinct from each other. New exotic weapon ideas or pve game modes. Branching storylines, new and interesting locations, skill tree ideas that pertain to your race. I feel like destiny has always been this way where the community has amazing ideas to create this bright and vibrant game world with interesting stories, gameplay content, features, and bungie settles for mediocrity but slowly trickes in slightly better features and we the community treate it as if its groundbreaking or revolutionary. Forsaken was a much better expansion than osiris and warmind, but when you look at it in comparison to other video game expansions and video game standards as a whole, it was mediocre at best. What I'm saying is that bungie starts out their games by setting the bar soo low, that when they make even the slightest progress we treat them as if they are making grand accomplishments. I wanted this game to be great, I really did, but be honest with yourself what else does destiny 2 have to offer before d3? Shadowkeep, a bunch of seasonal mini dlcs and then maybe one more large expansion? How much resources do you think bungie is going to invest into actually innovating or advancing their game over the last few years of d2? They are going to invest all their manpower to the new battle pass and seasonal dlcs in order to keep us on the monetization hamster wheel. They are going to drip feed this game and keep the destiny community on life support until d3 and the cycle continues again. This all happened with d1 and given bungie's track record the same thing will happen with d3. I'm making this post because I get depressed whenever I look at the forums and the community comes up with genuinely great ideas, but I know in my heart that bungie will choose the path of least resistance and make tiny minute innovations to their game and pretend they just invented the wheel.
