It's not horrid internet you complete fool. It's distance. I'm UK, fibre wired 100 up 50 down, EVERY other shooter runs perfectly for me. Destiny, for 5 years straight, matches me with Russia, Japan, Brazil, Kuwait, you get the drift. I'm playing people with over 1000 ping, finally had enough n just stopped playing. It'll never change, so I did. I suggest you do too, because nothings changing

I have 380 down, 38 up on fibre and I get these issues all the time. It can be fine for a couple of games then I can't put any damage on players at all. They rubber band all over and shoot me through walls. I run everything wired, through a dedicated enterprise router, set up specifically for D2. I've seen there are routers out there now that can limit matchmaking to specific areas and regions? Not sure how that works though.

Netduma can do it, but it's not effective with destiny bcoz it'll get you a host within your region but then it struggles to find more than 2-3 players n then they leave. I'm told it works in America, but Europe, nope.

I find on console that I actually get worse connection when I team up with US friends. The whole distance and lag issue I guess? The worst connections I get are with Russians and Far East (only guessing location from clan names).

Yeah 100%, russian and Arabic and that's simply distance. Though I'm told the middle East has really poor internet in the main. I knew a guy once who was terrible at crucible, he got sent to Oman on some service stuff. He went flawless n said the internet was awful but people couldn't see him, nevermind kill him. There was a lorry driver once, again awaful at crucible, played once when really bored in his lorry using some satellite hotspot, horrendous signal, guess what, he went flawless, he posted it all over Reddit. Both these where many years ago, but nothings changed.

I’m ALSO UK with double your speeds, it’s bad internet as I’m matching those in my city and cities near by. I’m going to continue to play however, but I will continue voicing my opinion on these forums :)

I'm also in the UK but I don't have these issues, maybe the odd game but in general its fine.
