I'd like to know when this is going to get fixed. It is now September 18th, I pre-ordered the new content and bought the Forsaken content with the game on August 27th, have not been able to load the game once since I threw away $100 on it. I'm using the 3900x, x570 Aorus Elite, RTX 2080ti....

Bro it has been fixed since August first. Read a bit more down in this thread. You need to update the bios on your motherboard and/or install the latest chipset driver from amd. I made a post further down in this thread:
everyone, check your motherboard support page for bios update containing agesa 1.0.0.3ABB. This has the destiny 2 fix. Alternatively, download the latest and chipset driver for your chipset from AMD directly. AMD has issued a fix to their partners and mobo manufacturers should be rolling out or have finished rolling out the bios update for your board. If the updates are not available for you the. You just have to wait. It is outside of AMD and Bungie at this point and in the hands of motherboard manufacturers. AMD provides their agesia update as a binary that the manufacturers have to integrate into their bios. If your board does not have the Bios update after 7/31/2019, then you have to use the chipset driver directly from AMD. It will be the latest one. The version number: 1.07.29.0115 <- this will fix your Destiny 2 issues without a bios update if none are available from your motherboard manufacturer. https://www.amd.com/en/support Go there, select chipset > Socket AM4 > Then your chipset itself. The chipset driver works on all systems from B350 to X570
Here is your bios for your board: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios Download the latest one and it will have a fix for not only a boost issue with AMD processors but also destiny 2. Aegesa 1.0.0.3ABBA If you do not know how to flash your board do the following: Get a flash drive and format it to fat32 download the bios from gigabyte and extract the bios to your flash drive reboot and at the bios screen keep hitting end till it comes up. Select your drive with the bios in it. Hit update. Wait for it to finish and system to reboot. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR COMPUTER DURING THE FLASHING PROCESS! It takes time. Once done, issue is fixed.
