If it’s the raid then yes. Less than 10% of people even play it. Better they focus on the 90%. Just a smarter play.

Where do you get those numbers from? Because of if you are still using the xbox achievements like I’ve seen other people so then that’s not really a good way to tell.
-
If you compare the numbers from Destiny Tracker to Raid Report, you can see that around 10% of all Destiny accounts have completed at least ONE raid. And only 70% of them have done two or more. So the number of people running raids consistency is extremely small. I have completed all the raids at least once, but I would never consider myself a raider even though I fit into the second category having done more than 2 raids. Unless Bungie tell us otherwise, those are the numbers people have to work with.

D2 Tracker...
-
So 10% of everybody who is actually active or 10% of just everybody who’s bought the game?
-
10% of everyone who have ever logged in.
-
Well of course if you’re going off that number then the percentage will be low. You know how many people probably didn’t even complete a single strike? Or even get high enough to do raids?
-
You know how many people probably
That's the problem with your assessment. It's just a blind guess.
-
It’s not really a blind guess though? There are definitely a lot of players who only go on for a while before never playing again, alternate accounts that did the same, or players who got bored and quit before being high enough to raid.
-
Yes it is. You have nothing to look at that shows you [x] number of people never did a strike or got high enough level to participate in a raid.
There are definitely a lot of players who only go on for a while before never playing again
That includes past raiders too. You act like every person who ever raided is still around playing. The overall player numbers going down includes people who raid too, so it's still just 10% of the population raiding today.
-
chill out! it was just a guess.
-
Oh, was it?
-
yes:/
believe me!
Thought that is smart; much like me, not many people have had a solid reason to do recent raids. Hell, most weapons you see in crucible or PVE content are mostly pinnacle weapons instead of whatever raids have to offer. Maybe only 10% of the community only interact with the raids due to this reason With reworks to armor, builds, and weapons coming to shadowkeep, the introduction for some unique perks to come to raid armor and weapons would finally make raid loot exciting. Only problem is, they ruined it via reskins
-
None of the Dlc content should be re-skins, but I agree, the effort should focus WAY more on the 90. Honestly though, they need to design way more kool armor and powerful gear for solo players. With the upcoming combat effectiveness nerfs Destiny 2 will be like Minecraft with only wood tools...
