Auto Dismantle Rare Gear
Please, for the love of all that is holy, implement an option for us to turn on so we have rare gear that drops just auto dismantle into materials. I'm sick of getting my postmaster full of rare gear I'll never use and spending so much time dismantling these items over actually playing the things I want to play. It would be a huge quality of life improvement.

More complicated but allow us an option to: 1) Auto dismantle all blues, and... 2) Auto dismantle specific items (specific shader, weapons, armor, etc - every item gets an option to activate auto-dismantling on).

Maybe auto dismantle blues that go to the postmaster only...then you have a choice of keeping the ones you get directly in your inventory.

4 RepliesOmg...it's so difficult to hold onto a button to dismantle a piece of gear.. I hope Bungie nerfs this soon because I just don't know what I would do.. Maybe I'll make a post and complain about how my life sucks. 😞

This is unlikely to happen with a major update around the corner. Not saying I’m against it, I do want it to be available after the first DLC of the year is put out, but when major updates like the yearly refresh happen blues end up becoming your power gain for a bit so they’d want to avoid rates being auto-dismantled.

Deleting blues gives me something to do as I fly into the next activity/Tower. 😜 jk

I try to manage it as it drops, and do try to keep at least 1 slot open for all gear slots, but stuff gets missed or sometimes I have my slots full for whatever reason. I know that's my fault, but an auto dismantle feature would be nice.

They should make it where maybe, turn our rares into legendaries, because some rare armor looks way better than most legendary armor and plus armor 2.0 is coming out, so you can add any perk you want to the armor anyways. Or maybe at a certain level, we can just receive nonpowerful legendaries instead of receiving rares all the time. I think we shouldn't keep getting rare equipment if we're this close to light level 1,000.

When you reach max level on a character they should dismantle automatically. In the meantime, warn me my Postmaster is getting full while I'm playing, not when I return to the Tower. Finally, blue gear drops should [b][i]never[/i][/b] take priority over Legendary and Exotic ones.

2 RepliesPlease yes, I am so sick of running to the postmaster because a last minute blue took the spot of my drops, I will never actually use one of these blues so please just remove or auto dismantle them

1 ReplyCompletely agree. Many other loot games do this already. Especially when my inventory is consistently full as well, on reset, I have to constantly go back to the tower, just in case. Either give auto dismantle on blues, or let us manage the Lootmaster within the companion app or just in game menu (kinda like how the vault should work...)

2 RepliesWhat if (crazy thought) you dismantle stuff when you’re in those long loading screens, and just sit there doing nothing??? I mean i never have more then a couple of items in my postmaster... you have all the time to dismantle stuff and this realy looks like complaining about something that’s nothing... Maybe also don’t have all slots filled with stuff? And transfer stuff you realy instant need from vault to your character and back?

1 ReplyI think blues will have a small chance to drop at your power level in Shadowkeep. So if you’re 760, but your boots are 755, then you could get a blue that helps. So, at least while you’re leveling blues might not feel so worthless. Huge disclaimer: I’m not 100% sure blues will drop at your level. Bungie may have meant that only legendaries could drop at your level, in which case... yeah... they should just drop as glimmer, mats, or weapon/armor parts.
