We need the Heroic Playlist back as it stands strikes are a snooze fest we burn through bosses in seconds , no reason to do them other than a quest , or power rewards we need the chase for loot from bosses not just in a NIghtfall we need more modifiers to spice up the replay value and fun factor encouraging us to us different loadouts , like specialist , Small Arms , how about one that uses weight of darkness but when you buck up orbs you get increased movement speed , bring back the elemental burns not these watered down sienge which has no risk strike bosses where way harder in D1 destiny is not a game for casuals I get it y’all tried to appeal to them for the sales but we are the ones who ride or die for the game so reward our loyalty

And a strike title
-
I was not a huge fan of specialist and small arms but with the new system configuration it may be interesting. Strikes are also clearly too easy.
-
What if grinding play list strikes awarded keys which could open nightfalls chests that drop strike specific loot.
-
First, the Heroic Strike Playlist is already in the game, it’s just in crap condition. Second, Bungo knows we want strike specific loot back and simply don’t wanna address this issue. Third, I completely agree that strike scoring should return but until they address the previous issues you brought up, there’s really no point. Look, people always wanna play the “casual” card when it comes to Bungle’s D2 decisions, but I think it’s time that we accept the fact that they simply have a different vision for this game than a large portion of the community. In the end, Bungo is more concerned with making sure they get a sugar rush from new content releases, raid races, and Exotic weapon quest and the numerous streams and vids, that’ll come from them.
-
It's not coming back unfortunately but, they hear you and their listening... ShadowKeep is only getting 2 new strikes.
-
What I'd love to see: All strikes have 1 legendary weapon, and 1 exotic cosmetic. Skeleton keys return + skeleton key fragments. All year 1 weapons (silicon neuroma, duty bound, dfa, braytech osprey) get updated. Strike bosses get big health boost.

Literally the longest sentence ever. There isn't even a period at the end of the whole thing...
-
Buy SK then.
-
Agreed, This one should be a no brainer. I miss the two Cabal brothers strike and Darkblade from D1.
-
These strikes just don’t have the ‘magic’ of the D1 strikes somehow. I still enjoyed D1 strikes through Rise if Iron, but the D2 strikes I’m thoroughly bored of. I really wish they’d remaster the D1 strikes and use the infinite forest simulation as an excuse to run them.
-
Went and played d1 the other day and honestly the strike scoring was far better in d1. Every element went towards points and it made it far more fun. Whether going for daybreak or rainbow bounties.
-
The way Heroic Strikes were in D1 was near perfect. The way D1 ended was great. D2 made way too many drastic changes and imo was a failure of a sequel.
-
Strikes really need an incentive to play. 100% But I’m sorry, adding Strike Specific Loot benefits the players and the game, therefore, this cannot happen.
-
Catalyst are not enough
-
Bring back mayhem iron banner.
-
All nf weapons pre shadowkeep should have a chance to drop in strikes, as well as nightfalls. It should've been that way a long time ago.
-
Strike scoring was dumb, but the heroic lost and loot was cool
-
You remember destroying strike bosses in D1 like we do in D2? Me neither. Unless a strike boss has invincibility they will be dead in under 5 seconds every time......they're a joke right now. They're basically a public event boss. And I agree we need strike specific loot that isn't tied to Nightfalls.
-
They will. They remove stuff inexplicably so they can re-add it and as such, they appear as if they’re “listening.” Been doing it for years.
-
The fact that Destiny 2 still doesn't have the things that the community loved from Destiny 1 is Bungles biggest failure, how do you make a sequel in the same engine and not be able to implement things you have already done.
-
Can they explain to us WHY they removed strike scoring and strike specific loot in the first place? It was one of the best features in D1 and they have hardly even commented on it since D2 dropped without it.
-
I passed your feedback to the team and this was their reply.

Edited by Dauntess: 8/26/2019 8:10:50 AMYeah me and my buddies loved fourth hoursman burn as we called it. Airborne + specialist + arc. Just jump, unload and watch the boss crumble. Good times. It just seems they don’t really give a shit about fun factor. It’s all about lengthening the grind even if it’s something simple as making strikes long and tedious.
-
D2 strikes just aren’t fun.
-
D2 strikes are boring, except Warden of Nothing, and the modifiers are terrible. We need interesting modifiers, better strikes, and then the scoring with tier medals again. Then every heroic strike should have a chance at a strike specific piece of armor and nightfall can have whatever.

This... 100,000,000,000,000,000 times this...
