Some great emblems in this game but they're spoiled by the stats in the bottom corner..
EDIT: Why would i be embarrassed or ashamed of my stats? Also, the emblems i like are mostly PVE emblems with pointless stats on them.

It's a dick measuring contest wherever we go in this game.

Edited by NerdPheonix: 8/26/2019 2:11:09 PMI mean, if you're scared the number makes you look crap because it's low. Then I'm going to assume you're crap anyway if I can't see it... Because I'll assume it's a low number. Edit: They should just make it so the numbers only appear when you hover over the emblem. Otherwise they're invisible.

Git gud

If you don't like the counter, why? What is so bad about stats? Sure it could be that the stats you show you would rather not show for a variety of reasons, you suck, you are a god etc.. But, why does it bother you one way or another? Basically, use the emblems you like, and don't use the ones you don't. pretty simple.
-
EDIT: I gotta poop.
-
I keep all my stats hidden for the most part. I support this post.
-
I don't use those emblems for the same reason I don't use kill trackers on masterworked weapons... It looks corny
-
The worst ones are good emblems that say "level 50." Like, I'm 750 power, of course I'm level 50
-
This would be a very welcome change. I’d love to rock my Last Wish emblem Nightfall emblem without the number. They’re distracting.
-
The feeling when your Crimson Day emblem kills are 556 I love the look hate The number.

Emblems & a total lack of any rankings was a real missed opportunity in D2. Who thought limiting an aura to having a certain emblem on was a good idea? Most games, if not all, expand on rankings as people really seem to like them. (Who knew? EVERYONE!) You could have added some specialized emblems for major milestone achievements. Number of kills with a certain weapons (50K, 100K, 250K, 500K) Number of kills overall or certain milestone completions. It's really not that complicated to figure out.

I agree, they would look cleaner without the stats, an option to turn off the stats would be very welcome.
-
I agree we should all have options. Just think it’s funny how ur sporting those cheap a$$ erentil kills while complaining about kill and score trackers
-
Whenever I fully masterwork a weapon, I never show the numbers. Def wished it worked the same for emblems.
-
It’s like people don’t understand what the word option means here...
-
Too many idiots here immediately jumped to the conclusion that if you're not using the stat numbers you're bad and immediately typed it down thinking they were being clever and sassy
-
careful, last time i made this post everyone said i needed to get off the internet for being insecure and oversensitive about my stats
-
Completely agree. All it would take is a toggle. Universal, not per emblem. Could include the aura's too because I don't like them. I prefer the cleaner look, some folk prefer bragging rights. Either way, a toggle would be nice...

Option for Bungie to focus on actual stuff not little numbers on an emblem

Edited by ThaPerna: 8/25/2019 12:26:21 AMI love all the kids saying “lol you’re embarrassed of your stats lmao gg git Gud” I guess it hasn’t occurred to these brainless people that the numbers just looks out of place on certain emblems. It doesn’t matter if it’s a 1 or 1000 they look stupid.
-
Lol I see your point but it revolves around being embarrassed by your own stats. Some people like to be proud.
-
I love rocking anarchy with 3 scourge completions
-
Yes, my Crucible emblem sits in Collections...LOL.

Once you complete all of the endgame activities and have almost all the weapons, there is only one thing left to do... Flex
