I'd like an answer to this as well. If I temporarily remove my PSN account from my bungie account so my cross save only affects my xbox and PC games is there going to be a problem somewhere that I'm missing?

Haven't seen anything about this. I just linked mine and said goodbye to my PC characters.

I don't mind losing my one PC character, it was a throw away I made when they gave the game away last year because all my machines were so old I had to lower the settings to minecraft level graphics to be able to play. I just got a new gaming laptop though and Destiny 2 can finally run on high settings and it looks beautiful so I want to move my xbox characters over. But I've put 1000+ hours into my playstation and xbox accounts individually and don't want to sacrifice my playstation progress to be able to play my xbox characters on PC. For the record, I unlinked my Playstation account last night and haven't had any problems yet. Ran a low level solo nightfall on PC with my xbox characters and man was it pretty.

Nice. Yeah I sacrificed my PC characters. I played a good amount with them from PC launch to the middle of Curse of Osiris, so not too much. Still sucks to lose access to them though.
