Can't unlink XBOX so can't complete Cross Save
Hello there.
I wish to transfer my PS4 characters to PC but the cross save process requires me to authenticate all currently linked accounts. I can do that with each of them except my XBOX account because it was a throwaway account from 32429583745 years ago and I have NO idea what any of the information is. It has nothing on the account and I don't care about it but I can't continue the process without either authenticating it (which I can't) or unlinking it (which I can't, for the same reasons).
Is it possible to have my XBOX link just removed? I have no use for it at all and I'm pretty sure I made some random email account way back in the day so I could join my friend on his old 360 with a free account.
Or, if there was an option in the Cross Save process to simply ignore one account (I only care about my PS4 characters) I could just snub the useless linked XBOX account and finish the process.
Any help would be grand.

Even Bungie can't remove a linked account without the credentials. So you'll need to work with Microsoft to recover the credentials. If you can't get the credentials recovered then the only way to get rid of it is unlink all your other accounts and create a new profile. The downside to this is your time at bungie.net will be reset to 0 and any store or donation emblems you've redeemed will be lost.
