Suffering through 3 Solstice armor sets should give us more than a purple sparrow no one is ever going to use.

This was hands down the most taxing, least enjoyable, pathetic, and lazily designed set of tasks ever put in a video game. Doing it once made me never want to play gambit again, question why patrols are even in the game, and reminded me of how awful it used to be grinding heroic public events. Doing it 3 times was masochistic, and absolutely not worth the time. How about some of these ideas to save a little face considering the community was very vocal about how awful the event was: Buff EAZ rewards so we can actually get good Solstice armor. Roughly 10% of packages will reward armor, and 80% will "reward" Blues. This is exacerbated by the mind-numbingly stupid decision to have EAZ chests drop key fragments half the time, so we end up with 999 keys for every 1 solstice package. We get keys from everything, and packages from the EAZ only. Let's say a 15 minute run of the EAZ gets you 10 EAZ Chests. You'll likely only get 5 packages from that run (probably less). Let's say you do another run. That's 30 minutes in the EAZ for 10 packages, and if you're lucky 1 of those will contain solstice armor. Grinding the EAZ to get better armor is extremely inefficient and unrewarding. Just makes the sparrow better. If the rewarded sparrow was exotic and had 2 perks, like the Micro Mini, it might actually be worth using despite being one of the most plain/boring looking sparrows in the game. Of course, they won't do that becuase why should a sparrow that takes WEEKS of grinding be as good as a sparrow you can buy from the Eververse for $$$$. Or anything else - whether it shows off what we put ourselves through, or it's just gear that's worth using. It's such a huge slap in the face to get this joke of a sparrow as the only reward.
