Report them.
With enough reports Bungie investigates that player but it takes more than one or two reports to flag them.
There have been already 2 people I have seen complaining on the #Help forum due to being banned for using bots to avoid the afk system in gambit and the crucible.

The problem currently is that the situation points to Bungie not doing anything. The picture I linked, almost 1000 games of Gambit botted, along with a premade bot. 90% of crucible or gambit matches contain one bot or more. If Bungie is coming down on those who bot, we wouldn't be in this position

Tell that to those who have been banned those who have complained on the #Help forum and those who know what they did was wrong and stayed mute.
