this whole thread stinks of fashionistas and big woop i seen people shopping accross the road from me in thier sleep wear all the time but do you see me complain just look at celebrities rocking sleep wear out in public so what .
-
Those celebrities weren't presenting a video game update to customers on a live stream
-
It's called perception. If you look like a slob and don't care, then that is your work quality too. Slob quality.
-
You tellin me you've never done work out of your bed? You tellin me you've never sat down at your house barely looking presentable and started typing away? Because not many people doing papers for school or typing up documents for work are sitting there thinking "Wow, because I look my best I will definitely be doing my best at this important work!" The reason for that being that isn't how it works.
-
If it was public, yes you should show respect.
-
But does the fact that you didn't mean that your work is worse? No, because those two things have literally no connection to each other. It's conjecture based on her appearance.
-
It is worse if you go to your work place like that.
-
You have any solid proof to back that up?
-
Yes, been there saw it. Bad coders
-
That doesn't sound like solid proof, that sounds like you passing judgement on your own experiences. Solid proof is a study made by multiple institutions in which the results clearly show that having a dress code improves quality of work and productivity.
