What I took from all of that was this:
1. After everything...Luke Smith, professional ??something?!... Halo2 critic??.... is still in charge for some inexplicable reason.
2. They have decided that instead of making actual content-
-New story
-New strikes
-New adventures
-New PvP Maps
-Giving us back PvP modes
-SRL
Etc.
They are going to stay with increasing spreadsheet grindier ways to get us to "play" the "game" and reselling us reskinned content.
Why?
Because "making content is hard" and taking a toll on the.... company that is literally in the business of making content. Maybe they are trying to change their biz model after the Chinese money infusion?
3. Finally, the spreadsheet stats ALONE are what we are going to earn from this grind, and any cosmetic good looks... you guessed it... will now be via the Cash Shop. We will get continued meh looking 'earnable' stuff in game.
Unless it becomes clear that Shadowkeep has some true new content, or PvP rework is reaaalllyy good.... this will be the first update I dont buy.

Dog they have more posts about "looking forward" coming soon. It's really too early to be up in arms about anything that wasn't discussed yet because hey they said they are going to have more posts talking about other topics concerning the game going forward.

Shadow keep is pulled content from D1.
-
I will not be preordering Shadowkeep. Mass recycling of D1 assets is lame.

The best thing is Bungie fanboys screaming about how this is a new engine that uses completely different assets so porting them is really hard. Improved particle system =/= a new engine, it's ridiculous how many people actually believe that.
