Can I get an F in chat for code of the commander? This is a lazy lazy zero effort buff to placate titans and everyone is falling for it like a charm without even realizing it completely kills another class. Without even realizing it's a zero effort buff. Not to mention the complications with well of radiance. Let's say they don't nerf well will the two buffs stack? If they don't then weapons of light is dead on arrival. If they do then anything and everything will be ultra trivial. Even if they take away the damage buff from well of radiance it still completely kills code of the commander.

uhh, what? why would you run well and bubble? remember, it's not just a "run whatever you want" anymore, they said planning loadouts is going to be necessary for success. meaning you can probably run whatever in strikes, but Raids and pinnicle events will need thought. same goes for other MMO's you play like WoW or ESO, you need healers and tanks and support. Bungie said MMO time, bye bye casual time.

Exactly and well is currently the superior option hands down.

A lot of people think the Well may lose its empowerment entirely upon this addition, or it will be nerfed so that Bubble is the better option. Well is all but guaranteed to be toned down though--Luke Smith specifically referenced Datto's rant saying it was a "good video", so they obviously agree.

It doesn't just kill one class, it kills all of your other classes and any decision you want to make on how you want to play now. You are no longer going to be allowed to run any of the other subclasses or you will likely get kicked from LFG.

dam dude, you could run strikes, i'm sure those will require no strategic planning. but yea, for raids, it should be more like Final Fantasy, Elders Scrolls and WoW. no more boring Destiny and no more cheesy builds. Destiny 1 was more like this and I couldn't ask for more. GG's Bungie.
Destiny 1 was more like this and I couldn't ask for more.
Eeehhh, D1 actually had the same issue with bubble, Bungie themselves came out and admitted it to why there was no weapons in D2 on release. If you were a titan in D1 for all of year 1 you had to be running bubble. Only in TTK if you had a 2nd Titan could you run hammers.
-
well dang, that just sounds broken and why would they release a game like that. unfortunately I didn't start playing until year 2 began, so maybe I missed it.

Edited by Raevenent: 8/15/2019 10:03:42 AMWOL and Well do stack, but the use is very, and I mean VERY contextual, and might I add situational, I can't think of it working outside of Riven if you're cheesing her, my group and I we do tractor, well, WOL and just completely delete Riven's health, even if say more than half the team isn't using or shooting a Spike Swarm, or cluster rocket, and whatever else is good at deleting her health.

It's pretty dope in a lot of the Heroic Menagerie.
