I purchased a Micro Mini Sparrow for Silver just a few days ago (less than 5 days ago by the time of posting) and the ability to refund the item disappeared well before the 7-day return period ended. I would like to know why this happened and would like to refund the item. The Bungie Help page states under Item Returns > Return Period that "Items eligible for an Item Return have a 7 day return period with a countdown timer displayed in-game. If players do not return the item before the return period expires, the item will become ineligible for an item return" AND under the description of the purchased item would say "Refund available for the next [X Days and X Hours] or until opened." The sparrow has not been used nor opened and the return window should not have expired yet.
