Gambit Prime is better than Gambit. In every way. The biggest problem with Gambit Prime is that heavy ammo decides games, but it drops sporadically and can be cheesed (with Armament Mods). So Gambit Prime doesn't feel like an even playing ground competitively. The solution is to have everyone start with a set amount of heavy ammo, and that's all they get for the whole game. This prevents that one a-hole in matchmaking from hoarding all the heavy spawns. And it forces some tough choices: Am I going to burn my heavy ammo on invading? Or killing invaders? Or clearing the bank quickly? Or burning the primeval? This wasn't my idea. I'm just advocating for it. Sincerely, A Grizzled Ancient P.S. Supers also decide games, but super economy is a known issue across all of Destiny 2 right now.

 • This sounds like a great idea. You have one full mag of heavy. Use it wisely. No heavy drops from enemies, No scavenger perks, No heavy ammo drops You have one full mag, that’s it. Use it however you want, but you don’t get any more.

 • As a Reckoner, I dig the you start with heavy and that's it idea. I've never thought of that as a solution. I didn't have an issue with heavy until Truth came out. But I invade using Tatara's Gaze so heavy isn't important to me (outlaw/kill clip is diiiiiirty) but I can certainly understand the annoying side of being invaded by Hammer and Truth.
