  • SPEAKING OF WHISPER. I bought the ornament with silver and grinded that catalyst for a gun I rarely use anymore. Are there any plans to make it cool again? Maybe give crits with whispered breathing a le monarque burning aoe effect? Doesnt have to be op, just cool please

    • If the last season pass was too much work. Then obviously get help with making content or.. Have less seasonal dlc's a year. Do 2 this time instead and have your staff take vacations for there hard work last year.

Man I have stood by this flip-flopping, multiple personality game of your, with ever misstep, and last minute direction change, and you still can't actually articulate WTF your game even is! "The fight with the action game and mmo with rpg is to hard to balance so I listen to streamer and change things on a dime" thats what I heard, what happened to innovative Bungie?

        So much hate and bile in this forums, it really takes a lot of effort not to succumb in this poisonous cloud. This is a game and it will follow the director’s lead and whatever vision he and his dev team have (which he repeatedly stated what it is in the document). They’re listening to feeback and trying to deliver what most want but it will never, ever satisfy everyone. So stop screaming and crying. Be constructive and take it for what it is or go away. The game will be what Bungie wants it to be not you. Enhancement cores and whatnots included. To Luke Smith and the devs: I, for one, see some bright changes in the future of this game, some moves in the right direction, some controversial but understandable decisions, but an overall effort to improve this game we all love to play. To be honest I’d much rather have smaller, meaningful and impactful (yeah, I went there) expansions than to have reskinned, reused, boring and repetitive content every 3 months. Take your time and deliver stuff that matters instead of rushing stuff through the door because you have a content delivery schedule to fulfill. Take your time but not forever. By this forums general behavior you have a lot of entitled, angry, anxious and ill mannered customers to tend with. Ps.: this is only part 1 folks. Hold your horses before the final message comes through.

      • Huge wall of text which explains a lot and skips a lot but all is good because this is Part 1 so there is more to come and it means more clarity. My take on it is that yes there have beens a lot of good things but some major mistakes also (as you have said). The end result is a smaller player base and a smaller streaming community (if that is to be a measurable vector as per Ninja's and M$ recent stunt!). Anyway, I digress so back to the post! [b]Nerfing Supers and Regens[/b] Nerfing super made sense back in your old post also but it did not address all the problems. Why do people kill/cheese bosses to begin with? Obviously it's no fun! I got the answer when I met a player with 90+ LW completions and no 1K voices. I literally cried for him. He had so many sherpa runs and so many quick/legit completions and everything except the thing he wanted most. RNG forces people to find shortcuts. Lengthy repetitive quest lines forces the same so [i]cheese[/i] comes into play. This is where the OP armour fits in. Back in early days of D2 and the Leviathan raid, RNG was also horrible. My clan did lots of raid and most of them never got the handcannon when I got it from raid engram (back in early days it gave you raid gear!) and i almost had all the weapons from raid before even powering up to raid level. Bummer for those who earned that engram for me! Cheese was rampant in my clan due to this. [b]Nerfing Weapons[/b] Fine with that. Just make sure you nerf both PvP and PvE weapons so that when one activity becomes boring due to a nerf, people can at least do another one! Jokes, apart, nerfing weapons is not the solution and you have proved it in Menagerie (and to some extend in some forges where bosses move too much). Making a well thought, well planned map with moving enemies and difficult angle of attacks solve the problems in much better way. BTW glyph puzzle is not a solution because it is just boring and attracts nerds with personality problems most of the time. All in all, you made decisions to pick x over y because of input. You agree that some worked out others didn't but hey that's life and it is ok. I understand and agree with most of it because in all honesty I understand what you mean by development marathon because I do it in real life. I would seriously consider you channel and analytics of making these decisions. I think I know why it is the way it is but that's for another post so I won't spill it here but I think it's wrong and it is costing you a lot of $$$ and most importantly it is costing you your player base.

        • Bring how Destiny 1 works in Destiny 2. Put back bounties in inventory section. Bring the Faction back and allow us to represent the Faction to upgrade their reputation. Bring back Blacksmith armors day Bring back skeleton keys for strikes so we can get certain loot in Strikes. Bring Iron Lord and Siva story in Destiny 2. Bring old Destiny 1 Strike into Destiny 2. Make sure all Strikes in Destiny 2 do get rotation. Stop listening to streamers/youtuber they don’t make up the player based in Destiny 2. Allow us to require all the weapons and armor in the collection tab. No more exotic quests with timers and jumping puzzles 🧩 Basically covert Destiny 2 just like how Destiny 1 works then you solve the problems to certain percentages

        • This is where DE shits all over Bungie as a developer. They listen to, communicate and discuss with the PLAYERS regarding the game. Not just streamers or people who's only obsession is how they can keep an audience. This has left me very sceptical over Shadowkeep.

          • So you expect us to buy the DLC and season pass and if we want any cool looking stuff you expect us to spend even more money . Sorry but not a chance , normally I pre order glad I never bothered this time , players support this game by buying the DLC and season pass but Bungie wants more , I won’t be throwing any money at my tv for this crap . It’s greed nothing else , if you want Eververse to fund destiny then stop selling season pass and DLC s. Only way to stop this shit is to stop buying sliver Buying the DLC / season pass should be enough The only vendor that ever gets updated is Eververse . If this is the way this game is going I won’t be part of it

              • MTX shouldn't belong in a game that has paid expansions and season passes. Only greedy publishers like Activision would add MTX in a game that had a full priced release with deluxe editions, paid expansions and season passes(so far it adds up at 230$ if you bought it all at release and pre ordered Shadowkeep). It seems some part of Activision never left, but may have gotten worse with the "improved eververse store" in which it's much more difficult to acquire items now then previously without investing real money. A clear intent from them to try and push you to use silver more than before, also the fear of missing out with many offerings being only available for a short amount of time giving a state of urgency to purchase said item(for example the thorn ornament was only available behind silver and had a time frame availability of 2 weeks). Yes, I'm aware you can now buy eververse items with real money without having to gamble. What saddens me is that in D1 we had a better system at the end of year 3 where all of the eververse content was available to be purchased directly at any time you wanted, no fear of missing out. Has anyone done the math of how much it would cost to buy each Eververse item with real money for this season + the events?

So let me get this straight, you want to have your cake and eat it too, you want the game to be a mmo but you can't provide enough base content, you can't provide mmo like expansions and you're even having trouble providing for games as a service content? I'll get Shadowkeep to give you a chance but thanks to those quotes I've canceled my Digital Deluxe pre-order and settled for the base version.

                • Ok, so a lot of this is just kinda insight and maybe some fluff...but...one thing that is really sticking out to me is the fact that we got a speech about how DLC was too hard, "making content is hard"...remember that? How putting together these massive bundles of content, strikes, pvp maps, raids, etc. was too much work, so we are switching to the annual pass model. We switch to the annual pass model and this is too much for bungie to handle? Are you serious? I'm sorry, black armory was a pathetic grind to throw balls at a cow bell four times. Joker's wild was a couple new maps for Prime and collecting some lost VHS tapes for the drifter. Other than Managerie this season has been a complete joke. The rest is sprinkled in reused content, no new strikes, no new PVP maps, no vendor refresh....my goodness how much lower is Bungie going to go as far as putting out content?

                    Let me get it clear. The Creative Director of Destiny stupidly stated, that the ONLY unique mission in entire(!) Annual Pass - Zero Hour - was made only because you were satisfied with real money skin sales? In full price game with paid DLCs? Really? So I guess now we could already agree Eververse are the main focus for Bungie? P.S. Hard work on Annual Pass? Hard work on fully reused content? Really? P.S.S. In Warframe we have new frame called Wisp. She could placed her buffs (almost equal to Lock's Well) in the start of the mission and it will stay there till end. And somehow this don't ruin PvE experience of the game. Luke, maybe it's time to ask some help from Digital Extremes?

                    • Here is my 10p: Gambit, better as prime but less invasions please. Missions like zero hour, can we not have them timed? Jumping puzzles or the toaster can really annoy you on a timer. Menagerie was great, but better with more loot, one per run took a bit of the fun out of grinding. The forges were an absolute pain to unlock, still only unlocked them all on one character. Solstice armour... the blue grind was way too much. Make sharers and ghost etc for seals achievable in a non rng way. Well needs a nerf, maybe in the damage output only to try to balance it. Nerf spike on grenade launchers, why? They shouldn't out damage a rocket or sleeper for single target damage, and yes I have God role ones. Make raid bosses more animated and aggressive then you can't stay in one place and damage them, you will have chip away at them or do a mechanic to stun them. You should have to run away from them like strike bosses. PVP, where to start, match making is terrible, comp is terrible at 500 you will still see people with recluse or not forgotten half way through the season and get stomped, not entertaining. Please tell me why the pinnacle PvP weapons are amazing PVE weapons, the pinnacle perks should not make them the go to choice for PVE activity, namely Recluse and Mountaintop. The perks should be limited in some fashion to PVP making then less effective in a different environment where PVE pinnacle weapons should be more effective. Exotics, some are just trash, feedback fence for instance, it will never be used over sythosepts or doom fang. Hard light, for the love of all that is holy, stop the screen shake! It makes the gun bloody annoying to use. Autos, some love please, can we have a different meta, one that isn't swamped by hand cannons at all ranges? Or godamn pulse rifles! Bring back Doctrine of passing.... I'm ok with pay for cosmetics, but they are expensive, perhaps cheaper and you might sell alot more. And that's it, looking forward to new expansion

                    • I don’t mind making encounters more difficult, but please enable us to deal the DPS to bosses without capping our damage per damage phase. If we have enough DPS to kill a boss in 1 run, please let it happen. Also happy you guys acknowledge how bulky the Titan armour is. I’m sure it will be better in Shadow Keep.
