Reckoning with the attrition modifier on is unnecessarily difficult. The first stage is easy enough to get through because you have plenty of space to run away from enemies and into wells of light to heal yourself.
The problem arises on the bridge portion of the event. The amount of thralls is already nuts, they’re easy enough to kill. However when the yellow bar mini taken bosses spawn, then things get really stupid and obnoxious. You have to focus on the mini bosses, otherwise they will push you out of the circle and kill you. And while you’re trying to kill the bosses, you’re getting swarmed by thralls.
Before you know it, your health bar is too low and you need to heal but you can’t because every time you start to, you get spammed by thralls or the mini bosses and you just die.
Ultimately your team fails on the second portion of the bridge because you can’t do enough dps on the mini bosses, while also trying to control the amount of spawned thralls that constantly attack.
In conclusion I have one request Bungie, please remove attrition from the modifier cycle for reckoning. It sucks all of the fun out of the game mode and almost 100 percent of the time causes people to rage quit and then you’re left there alone waiting for a new fire team.
