What you say can’t be argued.
Very disappointed in retrospect with the creativity from Forsaken onwards by the Dev Team.
There have been minor flashes of brilliance here and there but nothing that stands out or any activity that you’d play again and again.

They coerce us into playing the same things over and over. There really is a lot of content in this game...it would be nice if they let people play how they want to instead of forcing people to play Gambit, EAZ, or whatever.

It is unfortunate, but if you think about it, activities like forges and the reckoning are little more than pallet-swaps; the same enemies shuffled in the same locations with the same objectives and mechanics and then labeled ‘new content.’ And they intend to repeat that for year 3. No new enemies, no new locations, no new mechanics … How the mighty have fallen.

The optimist in me has hope that Bungie will blow us all away with Shadowkeep and get back on the path of “making games players want to play” The realist in me doubts this will occur based on their track record. I honestly think that there’s issue with Dev talent at the studio and that’s what is holding the content back. Just my conspiracy theory. No facts but it sure seems that way.

It wont be anything special, unless the armour and weapons are all hive themed and the armour excels in aesthetics past D1

I am pretty sure they are too progressive to hire based on talent, ability or qualification (‘meritocracy’) and lean more towards filling certain quotas so they just ‘look’ better, thus we get this level of quality from their content. Unfortunately, despite the massive backlash towards the annual pass, they said they will make another one for next year, ignoring customer feedback. I think they insist on doing it because it’s cheaper and easier for them. Greed is a massive problem there.
