PVP Is Down The Drain
Okay,
it is bad enough as a newer player to have to deal with lord of wolves and One eye mask meta crap. Which honestly makes competitive no fun, and all about if u grind enough to get the gear. Otherwise good luck grinding for a 5% chance to get it in a few months of play time.
What makes it way worse is when a bunch of randoms get set up against a four man squad, how is that even fair?
Why are the best pve weapons, or any weapons at all locked behind so much pvp? I didnt buy this game just to have to spend hours in pvp for weapons. This is not sold as a pvp game, its pve, with missions to run and enjoy as a squad.
When I have to spend hours of honestly complete waste of time pvp, that isnt enjoyable... It becomes pointless. I dont even want to bother playing the game in general, cause no matter what weapon comes out, I can figure I will have to spend hours in pvp, against teens who just play all day. So they have all the gear and I am left to hope I get ppl on my team who want to try. Oh, and that is IF they aren't afk'ers. I love gambit, but screw that, cause once it hits 4pm half the players sit at spawn and do nothing. So you want to climb rank? Too bad. You want to get those bounties so you can get your gambit gear? Sucks to be you!
I honestly dont see how you can lock gear and weapons behind a pvp wall, that is so badly put together.
Please tell me this is getting fixed. The meta, the matchmaking, the elo match matchmaking.
All of this needs fixed, or make pve missions for those weapons... So those of us who dont want to pvp, and just want to enjoy the game... can.

I understand what you are saying. You forgot to add bungie’s bull shit connection. Start winning a team member gets kicked now you are handicapped the rest of the game. Bungie gave the best guns in the game to sweaty try hards. Because that what it requires. Unless you wanna grind your life away as a solo Q I. Hopes that you can get that 2,200. But in today’s bungie it’ll never happen.

4 RepliesQuick play is fine. I laugh really...embarrassing try hards running some meta load out they read on reddit with a Duke and Coldheart. Just enjoy yourself. To be honest quick play is fine maybe make a Q for solo players? Its the nature of arena style TDM modes. Ill tell you what teams of recluse duskrock try hards really need to be embarrassed when they get mercied in quick play

19 RepliesOk I changed my mind and read the rest of your sob story. You don’t need the pvp weapons to be good or enjoy the game. No one is making you play pvp, if you feel that you want the pvp guns then you’re literally saying “I want to play pvp” Destiny has ALWAYS been a 60-40 pve-pvp player base and 40% is enough to make a couple guns available to these who play pvp more than they do pve... and to be honest, it’s people like you that cause 6 stacks. I’m personally tired of even trying to load a duo queue with 4 no thumb blueberries that drop a .5 kda. And make MY pvp experience the worst it can be.

4 RepliesI’m not even going to read the rest of your post because lord of wolves and one eye are no where close to being meta. One eye has nothing to do with anYthing. It’s an exotic that punishes lone wolf play styles get over it.
