But here's what to do with Mercury
Replace Vance, add FIRE & Brimstone
It should be a lethal place to be (what with Mercury half destroyed) - have it go fully seismic/volcanic - huge eruptions, molten lava, vex tech harnessing this power to create deadly encounters
Become the only planetary location that has modifiers as you land - no hints beforehand, & possibly bring in a revamped revoke (5 squares) system
The enemy constantly going into full scale war mode (move against each other etc)
Armies of Yellowbars kicking ass, Vex becoming smarter, evolving through tech & monitoring of other species...
Then integrate all of the Adventures/Strikes (inc the Saint 14 mission) & open the Infinite Forest into the general patrol area, all the unique enemy & bosses & add a new fast travel point
New Public Events using its own area resources - haunted forest/strike bosses/story bosses etc, & those random jail areas/trio of ninja Psions etc
a Vex EP style event on a massive scale would work great = [b]Infinite Protocol[/b], scope to evolve, adapt, overwhelm
Then give it mystery & loot - crank up the difficult to the [b]highest[/b] cap
Make Y3 versions of the (curated) weaponry forge & revamp the armour set (they looked rubbish)
What with the Moon being reintroduced in ShadowKeep & (rumours of Venus in D3) a Vex invasion army storming in the new season 8/9? - maybe Mercury becomes the Vex stronghold & a god damn difficult place for Guardians to operate/survive in...
A Vex dungeon style place, going into the depths of a seismic rift....would be great

And add some hope - maybe Saint 14 isn't dead ...or the Stranger (she introduced us to the Vex) appears
