In my opinion there is a problem with this Crucible pinnacle weapons have somehow made their way into being the best choice for everything pve and pvp rather than just pvp, where they should stand out best.
vanguard and gambit pinnacle weapons have been patiently waiting to finnally leave the vualt and participate in raids, and not just because noobs like myself couldn't get the recluse in crucible. The mountain top should NOT do as much damage as it does againtst bosses, nor is there any reason to. All grenade launchers one shot any player in the crucible anyway as long as the shot is close enough (obviously). No crucible pinnacle weapon should be good in pve and no vanguard pinnacle weapon should be good in pvp. Gambit weapons would make sense to be good in either.
There were so many opprotunities for bungie to make pve pinnacle weapons that were just as good as recluse or mountaintop, in pve, and required you to do difficult activities. Things such as soloing shattered throne without dying, which only rewards you a EMBLEM, I might add. You could even reward player weapons for 2 or 3 manning a raid boss, because a stupid and rediculous as it sounds, it has been done multiple times.
I would like to add I do NOT want recluse or mountaintop to be nerfed, because that would be unfair for pvp players who went and grinded for those weapons already.
