I haven't had so much fun maybe since forsaken launched !!! The mission was so intense and extremely cool so I put my ultra sweat pve pants on and went to town on the thrall. Solo flawless it after couple of fails and had a blast. Thank u for not putting a timer on it. It was really intense even without a timer

 • Reading the responses here very clearly shows the disparity between the two player groups in Destiny. I do not envy Bungie the task of balancing this game for both people who want to have a relaxing gameplay experience and those who want a more intense challenge. And both are fine. If someone wants to enjoy the mechanics and are looking for an immersive world without unnecessary stress, great. If someone wants to dive into a frantic firefight with hordes of enemies and a timer that continuously counts down towards success or failure, also fine. What is not fine is becoming a complete fcking monster just because someone has a different opinion than you. If someone enjoys something, don’t flex your imaginary awesomeness by telling them they’re stupid. If something isn’t “challenging” enough for you, don’t be such an epic tool and insult them for being casual just because you need validation in your life. There are more important things to be “good” at. Destiny doesn’t have to be a complete hardcore nightmare for people to be happy. On the other hand, if someone wants a higher level of difficulty, don’t “cleverly” suggest that they never bathe or live on the couch or don’t go outside. Plenty of people lead meaningful lives and naturally crave a more intense experience. My personal opinion is that Destiny shouldn’t cater simply to the “hardcore”. Too many different types of people play this game. Making it that much more difficult and tedious will only drive people away and create a barrier to entry. Could it be more challenging? Sure. But challenging in creative ways that both satisfy the hardcore itch and entice the more relaxed players to give it a shot as well. A timer does not add a challenge. It simply adds stress. A challenge would be a level design that forces you to think about how to move to survive, or enemies that require you to be smart about your tactics. A timer is just a lazy way of adding “difficulty” without actually having to do the work. I hope Bungie continues to try to balance Destiny for both sides. I hope they don’t just give up and cater to one over the other. The game doesn’t need to be easier but it also doesn’t need to be a tedious nightmare. It’s possible to include both. The option for heroic versions of activities is a good start. But please, regardless of the current situation, if someone has an opinion that you disagree with, don’t be a piece of sh-t and try to shout them down just to feel better about yourself. It makes you look really stupid.
