win/lose streaks in crucible
I've been on one mean losing streak tonight, crucible has chewed me up and spit me out. It gave me an idea.
A streak should build up for each L you take, just like it does for W's, and when you finally win a match it shoots you back up with extra rep, same as when you have win streaks.
this would encourage people to keep going for it, like i've been.. the only problem i can think of is it might make you gain rep too fast? so here's a poll.

1 ReplyI don't need to see the loss streaks, I know them. I don't worry about the wins streaks - they are short lived. Comp needs a change - Win = gain 60-80 rank. no bonus for consecutive wins. - Lose = gain nothing OR - Lose = lose 20 rank. no cumulative. Very simple - win one lose two, you still end up barely ahead giving players a reason to play. Currently - win one lose two, you are behind where you started - it gets to a point where players begin to ask: why would you play again?
