Hey Bungie, I just need to get this off my chest but I think colliding with teammates and teammates being capable of blocking bullets is the most annoying thing to me. It really sucks to have a perfectly lined up sniper shot only to have your teammate run by and block it. Also, I can't stand trying to run into cover only for my teammate to run out without a clue of what madness awaits and it ends up killing me cause he body blocks. I understand that you guys have your reasons like the difficulty of bullet detection when two players intersect but it would be the quality of life change that we desperately need in the crucible. You may not be releasing any changes to crucible until shadowkeep but this seems like such an easy toggle on or off thing that would dramatically affect pvp in a positive way. Also to those saying it bungie would never add friendly fire and also I don't care if shooting through someone isn't realistic I came here to play space guns, shoot aliens, and sink time into a game I enjoy. It just feels clunky and bad to keep team based collision. One more thing, this post isn't focused on pvp in general, I don't even care about Lord of wolves, I just want them to press the button truning team collision off It's probably as simple to them as typing in /Playercollision=false It's not a massive change but it would be nice

  • I believe it should be handled the same way as aim assist, with a toggle, this it’d be like passive mode on gta v, like you can’t interact unless both of you toggle on collision....why toggle and not remove...I like hitting friends with sparrows like in d1...but after Shadowkeep for some reason, team collision has been really irritating...I won’t mind sacrificing the ability to ram my friends with a vehicle if it can’t be toggled, either on or off...too inconvenient...as well as aim assist...except a little(teensy bit) less

    It’s all fun and games when a teammate of yours walks in front of you as you shoot a rocket killing both of you and costing you the game

  • Literally my biggest gripe I think with pvp. Most games with collision you just get stuck on each other in a door way or something. This is something else entirely. It will throw you like 2 feet out of the way it’s terrible. I don’t know how anyone could want to keep it in. Maybe for comp it could be on, but I feel like friendly fire should also be on if that was the case. Thinking on it now I think every comp game I’ve ever played had friendly fire enabled but of course noobstiny doesn’t.

  • I think they should either do away with it or add friendly fire. It doesn't make sense that I can be halted by a teammate but I can't kill them.

    • My main problem is how my teammates are always much heavier apparently and ragdoll me when colliding even slightly. Got killed a couple of times because this happened while I was running for cover.

      • just imagine in a pvp match. you round a corner and see one charecter. looks at you then splits into six players all shooting at you.

              • I don't mind the teambased collision. I mind how my gaurdian feels like a friggin rubber ball. I bounce off of everything I collide with. There's no sense of weight to it. Jumping through the air passing the opposite direction of a team mate? Fly off in a random direction! Try to run past a team mate running in the opposite direction get stuck in a hug of doom. Get stuck on every little lip ledge and pebble on the ground. Bounce off of every little lip ledge and pebble in the air. The Geometry in this game has the highest KD of all time! I'd like to see mobility and resilience worked into this. High mobility lets you slip past your teammates unimpeded. High resilience makes it so your team mates bounce off of you. You jump/run through them unimpeded and they go flying instead. Equal Mobility vs Equal resilience should almost equal what happens now except moment should stop for both parties.

              • Nah, I think it’s fine the way it is. It wouldn’t make sense that you can shoot through your teammate. Just be glad that there isn’t friendly fire like there used to be in halo.
