Remember Faction Rallies
Jesus Christ Bungie! I love your game, but we need faction rallies back. Those crazy week long battles between FWC, DO, and NM. I speak for a good heap of D2 players when I say that faction rallies are missed. Y'all tell me your thoughts on rallies.

This post has zero to do with the Lore of Faction Rally and more to do with an idea of what you thought of the event. So... lore wise, I think Faction Rallies pushed the ideas of the Fallen hierarchy of politics (split up to your respective communities) and made it so we would understand that choosing one rally or Kell is a generally bad idea when resources are always being fought over. Furthermore, I think the Tower would do well from more vendors and would gather supply chains with guardian support leading a small charge to help out. The Consensus could vote on it as well as pull the Speaker nomination up multiple times which allows the various factions and city to have a hand in each other struggles as well as give guardians a thumbs up for the need of materials from certain worlds. This would bolster our shared economy and functional capability. It would also be interesting if we could find additional Fallen, etc. who would be willing to trade and be the first guardian trading outpost across the system. WHO'S WITH ME?!!!

I do not miss D2 faction rallies ...... But if they found a way to make them fun bounty wars , have them work like the vanguard or adi 1 even give the factions weapons we can forge... Things like this , again just my opinion not everyone's....

How about a new game mode that has 3 teams, It would play similarly to a Moba with each team having a base but the main goal would be to capture and hold an objective in the center of the map that buffs your teams minions, after capturing that objective you would then push into one of the other two teams towers to destroy them in hopes of advancing on their base and destroying it, last team standing wins. Each team would have a different narrator, one of the three faction leaders for each team.

3 RepliesSince everyone else has their own opinion on the topic, I'll go ahead and pitch mine. Battle Royale mode where you load in a big server with the three factions going at it. Make it last a week, once a month. D1 styled faction mechanics while waiting for the next one. Perks, rewards and other things can be awarded for play. Just spit ballin'.

Rallies were tedious and boring. Bring back how factions were in D1.

Meh. I never really cared for them. Too much stuff in the game as it is. We don't need to keep adding more crap, bounties and NPCs.

I remember something better than Faction Rallies: Just having factions around all the time, you could pledge one, you could earn rewards from the faction and at reset when you could change your allegiance. Each faction had......get this..... Material Exchange Unique Ghost Shell Unique Bounties Unique Armor Sets Unique Weapons Unique Shaders Unique Ship Unique Exotic Class Item (rewarded upon Reaching faction rank 50) ^ That setup is was WAY Better than Faction Rally ever was.....

Nah. I personally found it really boring. Maybe being it back a couple of weeks before new content drops to make the content drought a little more bearable but i don't think its needed anymore. (Personal opinion only) ;)

Eh that’s so shallow though. They are criminal organizations with enough pull to be recognized by the tower. I would like to see us go against these factions and try to clean up the city. Their infighting is preventing human expansion. We need to stop being guardians and start being conquerors. 500 years of hiding behind walls that couldn’t stop a force that couldn’t face off against the likes of oryx.

It needs to be permanent like in D1, and there needs to be a quest to give Faction specific Exotic class items. And maybe rewards for ranking up a certain amount of times.

Actually you speak for nonone first off. You only speak for yourself. Faction rallies is shit after it changed. If it goes back to what it was when it was first introduced then yes. If not then no it can stay dead with trials.

6 RepliesIn theory yes, they should be back, but in practice, only if they change it from how they have done them so far in D2. There is a reason they haven't come back yet.

Revert factions back to D1 format along with iron banner (D1yr1) nightfalls and strike specific loot.
