Ppl that didn't play d1 missed out...d2 doesnt even feel like destiny.

It's not D1 but it's arguably in the best shape it's ever been in. Not perfect (looking at you crucible) but as much as I loved D1, it was a real happy place in my 30 plus years gaming, progress has seen D2 become a much better game, in my opinion. Rose-tinted glasses are hard not to look through sometimes, I know that too well

Just something about D2 I don't like. Armor is ugly, strikes are not very good, movement is still better in 1, only raid that I liked is last wish, enemies had more unique ultra they all look the same in 2, everything is so bright and colorful, graphics were better in 1, etc.

These are all things to which personal preference applies, as I guess everything is. I tend to look at it as a whole though, and as a game it's still something I enjoy pretty much every day and have a great love for, both past and present. I enjoy things for what they are rather than what they are not... Do miss that Darkblade strike though!

It’s much closer now than it was.... but you are right it still just doesn’t feel like destiny.

I feel the same way man. D2 just doesn’t feel Destiny to me

Same, got dumbed down for little kids, super bright colors, all the ultra enemies look the same. D1 looks so much better, imo. Movement is better. All it needs is the areas, the ledge grab, and the new supers.

Loved how we got pulled into the story, lore, history of D1 and how all the armour and guns had that great worn down old golden age tech feel. If D1 was Lego D2 would be Duplo Lego.
