I mean seriously?
The roster didn’t even say that a person had left, he was never there from the beginning.
Comp is by far one of the most buggy bs game modes and players get punished because of your own systems.
Edit: Also what the -blam!- is with people getting put as spectators? You fixed the chest glitch but managed to break every other gamemode. Do you even test your “fixes” before you release them?
Edit 2: The last 2 games I ran had 1 player missing from the enemy team from the start. Its free Glory for me sure, but it still sucks that 3 people lost glory and potentially streaks simply because there wasn't a system to protect them from an unfair loss.

Inept developer? Duh.
-
Yeah it’s absolutely stupid. MM can take some time and I willing to wait an extra minute for the lobby to get filled. Other games have player protection as well (Overwatch for example). I had 2 matches in a row where my team started with just 3, followed by a match where one team mate was kicked, followed by another match where we started with 3 people. If you start 3v4 it usually doesn’t take that long to for it ti become a 2v4. Even worse is that you have to stick it out if you don’t want to get punished…

"Working as intended"
-
If one of the best PvE Weapons wasnt locked behind comp. i would never touch it. Its horrid
-
They aren't because Bungie loves streamers and loves the idea of friends pvp'ing together. If you aren't playing together you can be damn sure Bungie's matchmaking algorithm will purposely try and find you the sweatiest group of friends they can. Basicly Bungie's way of saying "Get some friends or we'll purposely make you suffer. We didn't make this game for you solo folk".
-
It's ok. I'm going to say what people say about d2 back in d1. "It's just a beta. D3 will be the real destiny game."
-
Someone posted a solution to spectator mode bug in competitive you need to go to your pursuits to respawn again
-
Ok here’s a tip, when you get stuck spectating go to your pursuits, and that will fix it. It’s a shit bug and pathetic they won’t fix it.
-
I ran a few games before the patch and teams weren’t full. Same with gambit. I’m staying away for a while. I’m bad enough without being short changed.
-
Two reasons - 1. The crucible development team is poor, I mean subpar to most other PvP game devs. 2. They just don't care As for testing releases, this latest shower of shit answers that question wholeheartedly
-
Edited by FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 7/17/2019 2:29:48 PMOverwatch has a clever method of preventing that by making it so that the match wouldn’t start until there is a full team on both sides. Players can fight each other for fun until it waits for missing players to join.

-
Comp definitely suffers from a total lack of integrity. But that’s no surprise.
-
Do you even test your “fixes” before you release them?
I mean, I think the answer is obvious.
-
Yesterday I got on. Trying to get to 5500 glory solo this season. First match. First two minutes of the match. 3 teammates depart. Legit leave the match. We was only down 7 points. I stayed in it to make sure my kda goes down 20 notches and I don't get a ban from comp. I just got on to play. So -blam!- being banned for the day. 2nd match. 2 teammates go into spectate mode. Game sure is turning into a piece of shit. I only play it for the pvp really and it feels like I'm dealing with a start up, amateur company all of a sudden. What is absolutely -blam!-ing insane is I get punished for it. Always getting -blam!-ed over by this company.
-
Genuinely I think Bungie is scamming the player numbers again. I don’t believe for a second the numbers being quoted from Charlemagne that it’s pulling in over a million players again. The amount of gambit games, strikes, crucible matches I’ve been loaded into with a player missing. My guess is Bungie ghost players that register as an active player which holds a spot on your team but don’t actually exist to artificially increase player figures.
-
cause robots dont care.
-
Because it’s Bungie and they don’t care, it’s obvious with their lack of attention to the Yard Sale that is Crucible. Not a single thing Competitive about it.
-
I agree it seems like every time I get on a 3 or 4 streak the next match I’m put in is a 3 v 4 match it makes no sense I hate it for the ppl going for Luna and recluse this season with all the bugs that are in comp right now. im glad I got mine last season. Bungie needs to quit being cheap and get dedicated servers i think it would cut a lot of these issues out.
-
Just loaded into a a3v4 the 3rd guy left right away now 2v4 shit is stupid. I’m not playing it until this bullshit is fixed.
-
It's because someone is leaving as the game starts. There isn't really a fix unless they were to lock you in place. (No leaving or changing character) Unless players would stop leaving the matchmaking. That won't happen though.
-
Easy to avoid. Go in with a 4 stack . Don’t have people to play with ? Lfg. If that doesn’t work you either suck it up and accept the consequences. Or don’t play comp
-
Uh Bungo??
-
I hate when that happens. My theory is during transition from orbit the teammates will look at the opposition see it’s a 4 stack and exit the game all together leaving you short handed when the match starts
-
Cause bungie only hears youtubers and streamers feedback and wont do sonething about it. Some people may say the answer some post on the forums but they are just writing what we want them to write which is different from actually doing something.

Edited by Pord: 7/16/2019 10:37:52 PMSome people change characters to leave a match before it starts if they don’t think they can win. Its pretty stupid
