You may not believe this, but they are doing the best they know how. Some of what they teach you, you will be grateful for. Some of it, you will never understand what they were thinking.
Once you get out and into college, you will experience almost complete freedom and all I can say is to not let it corrupt you and change you. You will have a lot of things at your finger tips to try that can have serious repercussions for you, so try to be smart and safe.
Then once you are out on your own and living your life, you will slowly see what was good and what was bad or worthless. Just remember to thank them for the good and let the worthless go.
Finally, don't feel bad you needed to blow off the steam. You have to or you will explode. Do what you need to prevent that.

I know they want what’s best for me. Sometimes it’s just annoying though lol. The interesting thing is, I kinda understand how the teenage mind works. I know that some of this is hormones, and others is just growing up. But even though I know [b]why[/b] it’s happening, I can’t stop myself from feeling like this. It’s weird.

Yea my parents are kinda strict as well, just think about what people without phones or anything good feels like? That's what I think when something seems unfair.
