Has destiny 2 been glitchy for anyone else..
Ive been having a lot of issues lately connecting to destiny 2 servers, disconnecting from lobbys, invisble players, black screens, and long loading screens any else experiencing these issues?

Yep I just mentioned I have been seeing issues that normally never see. I promptly reset my console and then I'm fine(ish) I check my network and theres no problems with it so-----

Ran a Scourge of the past raid yesterday, the crit spots on the Berzerkers weren't opening up, along with other minor issues. Had a malfunctioning grenade, thought is was funny enough to share, enjoy

In the crucible I’ve had invisible players, invisible weapons and a few error codes logging in.

Take a commander titan into the will of a thousand strike. At the xol encounter, there are three crates on the right side near the stairs. If you kill and enemies and proc the void detonations near the crates, the crates will infinitely explode will void energy keeping your health at max and all abilities charged. Any enemy that goes near the crates explodes. Its a rather humorous glitch currently, not game breaking like other bugs . I wonder if other inanimate objectes could be effected by void detonations.

Ya bounties have been really laggy/delayed as well, probably something to do with the lastest update.

I tried transferring a gun from one character to another tonight and my gun disappeared. Yeah, it's a bit glitchy.

I literally had a Berserker go inside a doorway in Scourge today, and not come back out. Like he saw us and said "nope, this is my house mother f er!"

Very glitchy, pve enemies in gambit and prime randomly disappear and reappear off to the side or they’re spawning and getting stuck inside the map assets. In Pvp there seems to be glitch spots on the maps where players are not detected correctly on the radar, got shot in the back three times in a row at the dead cliffs with my radar barely lit and even then it was indicting forward position.

it was real bad last night. kept getting the message "contacting Destiny servers". then i was running a heroic adventure and was kicked to orbit (and had to restart ) twice. got kicked to orbit while picking up bounties in tower. gambit match froze up before 2nd round started. nice of them to send me the message "see you left a gambit match early. doing so will harm other players ability to enjoy the game. please do no leave early again" or some crap like that. it wasn't me. the stupid game locked up.

Yes. Contacting servers and getting a message stating D2 is undergoing maintenance then returned to orbit and logged out. This happened twice yesterday.

Bungie should come out and tell us what is going on but they won’t instead we wait for a TWAB and we all know how that is going to go. I can hear it now “you didn’t even acknowledge the issues!” Actually they will say “we’re sorry we can’t fix these issues because of time crunch.” I understand that you don’t want a time crunch but what would be the point to release shadowkeep and not be able to get into the game and enjoy the expansion. These are issues that should be prioritized over everything as they are clearly disrupting gameplay and affect pvp. It’s giving people who are invisible an unfair advantage. People can’t even play crucible because of this “spectator crap”. These are types of issues that need to be fixed immediately and not take weeks or even months before a fix.

I specifically mean when bounties are completed. Sometimes I’m not notified at all.

I got kicked out of 4 reckoning matches it's something involving CPU usage I think

only thing ive seen is my guns not loading in after i switch them, mustve played 10 games with no way to aim because the sights arent there

Yes! I was doing the Forge farm overnight and after 14 hours I thought I would be swimming in shards. Instead I got disconnected during the night and only got 1200. Fml

1 ReplyThis happens with all games sadly. It shouldn't happen with big budget AAA games like Destiny though but it does. This used to happen to monster hunter world a lot when the game first came out but at least that game got its shit togeather. Now when new updates come out if there are any weird glitches they get patched within a few hours usually. Bungie though takes weeks, sometimes months. Even free to play games like warframe that have only a tiny fraction of the staff and money that Bungie has fix their glitches faster. I've been saying this forever, Bungie is a really sad, pathetic video game company. Ppl need to stop throwing money at them.

- Invisible Enemies in Cruicible (bug being exploited) - Stuck as Spectator/ no Res in Cruicible - Stuck in loading durring strikes till the strike ends (Similar to Spectator bug) - Enemies "Teleporting" to new locations, Not seemingly lag related... Large enemies who normaly dont move much anyway (See Blind Well )
