getting " contacting destiny 2 servers" while in a comp game winning the game but being penalized and losing
so me and some buddies were playing a match in comp we won the game but it said we lost it and it also said that we had left even though none of us never left because we are trying to go for fabled. We brushed off the first time and went back in. We then got "contacting destiny 2 servers" and once we won the match it said we lost and got penalized for it for no apparent reason.

Just got booted twice mid game I’m comp an now I’m suspended, at first i thought I was d dossed cause my game completely locked up both times but now I see everyone else having the same issues so I know that wasn’t it but it doesn’t make me feel any better about the situation

yeah i posted something about this earlier yesterday so I'm not the only one this is happening to, but yeah i tested every game mode and yeah lagged in every one. Even the blind well kicked me and set me in a new instance completely resetting my progress making me lose the tier 3 and unstable consumable. i gotta say this is kinda ridiculous i can't do anything besides free roam without lagging even then i still get the "Contacting Servers" and get booted back to orbit sometimes........

Got this in Gambit. We lost, but the match had completed and as I waited for it to take me to the summary screen got "contacting destiny 2 servers" then a warning about leaving early. No completion recorded. Now I am afraid to try any Gambit, Crucible, Strike, etc. for fear of this happening again and getting suspended. Never had this happen in the past. Broadband is not the issue. Started after their mystery "fix" today.

Same here. I recorded us waiting out the time and showing the ban even though we won.
