Lot more disconnects since the last update

Been having a lot more disconnects since the last update, mostly error code weasel, but also baboon, anteater, beaver and rabbit. Didn't find any problem with my network.

  • I have been getting error code Wiesel for the past two days ever since the maintenance. It is almost unplayable and no it is not my end because I am in a call with my friends and it does not kick me out of discord. So not my internet must be something with Destiny itself, please fix!!!!

    Most of those error codes you listed are specific to either WiFi issues on your end, ISP disconnects/glitches, or internet congestion in your area. Make sure to check out these troubleshooting steps to be absolutely certain it's not your own connection: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13610 https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13603 https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13602 Besides the most common first step being to switch to a hard wired connection if you're using WiFi, you may be having an issue with your ISP and would need to contact them for help identifying the problem if none of the above helps resolve the disconnects. If disconnects with any of these specific error codes become common for a lot of players at the same time, it would point to at least one of them being on Bungie's side and you should look to their @BungieHelp Twitter account for announcements.

    • Starting today I have been getting anteater as soon as I hit the 3/4th mark in menagerie. Had it happen twice

    • Been having similar issues. Keeps kicking me from matchmaking activities with error code anteater. has been fine all day up until about 3 hours ago and now it is happening on every match

      I've been getting similar issues. Wired network, on PC. No congestion (i'm only user, happens even very late at night, during weekdays, evenings, doesn't matter). Using Comcast in the greater Seattle suburbs Immediately after the patch last Tuesday, sudden uptick in infinite loading screens, being kicked out of activities with network errors, with no apparent cause. In strikes, in patrol zones, in pvp/gambit, doesn't matter. Many people in my discord who were not having issues have seen a sudden increase in similar issues, and it's not happening just during Bungie's frequent maintenance windows this week. While it's possible it's my end, there's far too many coincidences pointing to something specific that changed to kick this off.

      • Same problems over here - since July 2 have experienced a major uptick in issues. Here's an overview of codes I have received: Buffalo Bee Baboon Anteater Beetle Chicken (was not resolved with a scan and repair or a search for update) Cacao Heron Weasel Getting near constant "Contacting Destiny 2 servers" this happens both wired and wireless, on both PC and Xbox One. Have rescinded firewalls, forwarded ports, rebooted router and modem numerous times, actually purchased a new router and also took all other machines off the network to test. Have called ISP who reports no know issues with the network. Pinging bungie.net generally gives me between 25% and 50% packet loss with very little latency. I haven't been able to play a complete activity in about 3 days.

        Alright, game is borderline unplayable atm. Can't finish an activity without disconnecting. EDIT: Game is relatively stable now compared to saturday, at least for me.
