This was one of the larger reasons why there was a large population fall off. And when Bungie started leaning the game towards “hardcore” oops we shut sbmm off......great players curb stomping average players loved it and defended.....why because it was easy for them. Easy equals fun. Average? Frustrated and disgusted. Came to the forums and got told to get good....etc etc etc.....and here is what’s left today the top 5% most of which are at 2000+ glory. Now left with almost nothing left but good players and oh hey it’s not so fun anymore.....the vast majority of average players average meaning 1 k/d or less and yes that is in fact average amongst all fps shooters are loooong gone. I haven’t stepped foot even once because of the setup for comp. But who cares right? I should go get good right? I decided I am as good as I am going to get. And I am ok with that. And until this game tips the balance to be at least balanced between the good and great players I won’t be back.

Honestly I am not going to debate this with people who are happy with the game as it sits. I will concede one important point you do have every right to enjoy the game you help create. But it doesn’t make either one of us wrong in our points of view. And since Bungie has made their direction clear and that is to side with you the position is moot either way. But if Bungie ever is to regain all they lost things will have change. Or maybe they are happy with a much smaller slice of pie. At any rate I am not going to have a have have not debate. Yes guys you are right the problem is me. You win.......but I assure you Bungie is the one losing. Unless of course they are become a Chinese mobile game designer.......

You have sbmm in rumble, banner, rotating playlist and have a form of it for comp. Sorry that 1 playlist doesnt go your way but qp is performing exactly like social playlists across all shooter including cod, halo ans even fortnite do. If 1/5 playlists not being catered to you is enough reason to quit then dont let the door hit you on the way out

It’s exactly QP the screwed up. There is no sbmm in any of those game types you mentioned. None and you won’t convince me there is. And it’s not just me....I am just one of the few left with another care to say something. The others they already spoke. Shhhh if you listen carefully you can just hear them.....(nothing but crickets) but no no by all means call me idk what ever stereo type your using these days. And cod or just about any other FPS out there I can still go in and win some lose some. Here not so much........and don’t even get me started about what a pile of crap map design is oooof. 3n3 4v4 6v6 all on maps designed for 8 no no seriously their not “catering” to me please do go on. I am a snowflake or I should go get good or what ever other pile of crp I have heard over and over

You can relax as much as ever, if you consider shooting opponents and them shooting you back as fun then you're good, if you only consider winning fun then you'll have to fight for it. So 80% of pvp caters to the bottom half. More the enough

And the sky as a whole isn’t blue it just appears that way most of the time. But not always. I will debate one last point. And I am not going to copy and paste all your points because I did read them and I have enough reading retention to not have to try throw your words back at you to debate a point. I will not be that rude to you. But you say the one constant is me right? Must be me if I am losing all my matches by a landslide right? Maybe I broke my thumbs in a car wreck and they just don’t work anymore right? There is nothing else that changed right? Alls I will close with is LOL. And I wouldn’t expect less than defending ones right to be wrong. There is in fact another constant and it’s not me. See me I am taking my money elsewhere. Why I even began this debate with those defending their right to enjoy the game they help make is totally beyond me. I usually know better. Enjoy your not forgotten. But I notice 0 glory this time around. Don’t want to go back in? Why not? Never mind as I said I am not doing this. PVP has become unplayable for average players. Bungie is struggling for good sales numbers. I wonder why........

The problem is that all PVP in this game is broken. Doesn't matter..QP, IB, rumble ect....either it's go into a match in progress that's a complete blow out , go in 5 vs 6 or just end up constantly facing top tier players with 5 kd's vs my barely even kd at 1.08 and get pub stomped...and no this isn't a solo vs stacks debate as friends should be able to play together.

Lol good players liked SBMM turned off because we could finally play well connected matches instead of the game saying "oops nobody on your continent is the same skill as you so here are players from the other side of the planet".

Believe it or not the two aren’t mutually exclusive one doesn’t have to supersede the other they can in fact work concurrently. However Bungie did it to further appeal to the “hardcore” and now here they are having a community summit to figure out why preorder sales were so low.....it’s not mystery to me and activision saw it coming. And I saw it coming from activisions departure

Use of the word “babies” yes abuse verbal bashing in a game that is meant to be enjoyed and when the enjoyment stops the came here to voice their concerns and met with people like you. And said the hell with it and quit it wasn’t fun anymore. And now Bungie is having another community summit shortly after pre order sales opened up for shadow keep wonder why? I know why?
