I recently got back into D2 because I didn't want to swing the absurd $40 price tag on Forsaken (But that's a different topic) Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed in the fact that Dawnblade (DB) hasn't been reworked in any fashion. It has got to be hands down the most useless super in the game. I would rather have a Titan bubble than DB. The part that sucks too is I love all the other aspects to the subclass. Until I pop that DB. Garbage control in the air is my favorite part. Totally designed for mid-air airstrikes and you can barely muster an ounce of control in the direction you want at any point. Oh, and let's not forget about the terrible camera view. Sure it's what every other super has, I get that. All I'm saying is when DB's designed for high flying combat and your camera keeps getting shoved behind vines or wires or whatever is hanging from the roof or protruding out of the walls you're gunna have a bad time. Not to mention to ridiculous flaming wings that surve NO PURPOSE AT ALL. All those do is help gunk up the screen. Damage resistance is a total joke compared to other supers in the game (i.e Hammer, Arc Staff, Nova Warp) Getting killed at full health with 8 resilience by a shoulder charge is hands down the cherry on top of this point. Damage output: k... so... idek how a direct hit on a hunter can only muster a measly 97 damage and then be classified as a super. Like, what? It has 0 capacity to eliminate another high damage resistance super (Again, what I labeled earlier in the previous point) We're not even going to discuss splash damage. It's laughable. All in all I might as well be up there throwing candy corn at you guys because that's what it feels like. Would love to get some feedback and insight into this.
