While true it doesn't eplain why other triumphs with exactly the same wording are giving progress without having 100% calus themed gear. I had partial completion on several and the only thing even related to calus that I had equipped was Truth.

there are several that do not require full sets of everything but full sets give more percentage. the full set for both are the yes no style versus the points style bar

Yea, I get that. It's also been officially confirmed to be the case in the link someone else provided in this thread. The issue is that the wording is identical while the requirements are not.

But it IS worded exactly the same as The Emperors Gladiator triumph to earn valor in the crucible which does not require a full set... so everybodys concerns and complaints are completely warranted and the wording needs to be changed.

So do you only want to wear and use the themed gear in the crucible? Bungie issued their clarification for the nightfall requirements. The points based are all more pieces more progress.

"Using calus-themed armor and weapons..." is exactly the same in both. The difference in the actual requirements is "some" vs "only" and neither is explicit. And it should be. If it had said "using [b]only[/b] calus-themed armor and weapons..." there would be no confusion and I, along with many others, would've completed 2 triumphs in 3, or less, nightfalls.

F! the twab. The requirement descriptions SUCK. This should be effing clear in the triumph descriptions. Players shouldn't have to go elsewhere to know what's required. Too much jumping around. FIX THIS SH*T BUNGIE!

Personally, I feel the descriptions for the 2 items were fairly clear. One says complete the activity using themed weapons and armor the other says earn points and wearing more themed gear and weapons is more efficient

It is VERY clear to me. These people must not be very fluent in English or something. I mean how many other was can u explain it so they can understand? I feel sorry for you trying to deal with this kind of “stupid.”

Yet we had TONS of posts about people complaining their Golden Gun only had 1 shot when wearing Celestial Nighthawk, or complaining about not having a super while wearing a certain artifact in D1, etc. So threads do/can exist simply because people don’t read or don’t properly read. Sure, it could’ve been clearer, but common sense should’ve dictated that when it didn’t mention “more gear is greater progress” (or whatever the exact statement is) that it needed to be a full set. Also, sure some people are claiming it’s bugged, yet they aren’t showing pic/vid proof (at least that I’ve seen) of wearing full set of qualifying gear w/o triumph completed. I would rather see a pic/vid of something not working than words.
