[Bug Report] Exploit / Cheese for the Bad Juju catalyst and all tributes
I just read about people getting the bad juju catalyst + the tribute emote for the tribute hall without using ANY effort, materials and triumphs by cheesing it with a cheap 2 character trick if they haven't opened the tribute hall door yet.
I honestly demand this to get reverted for the people who did the cheese, to give us our materials AND Bright dust back or just hand out everything to everyone since all this does in punishing the dedicated people who did this legit day one and hand it out for free to all the people who didn't play this early.
This is not a problem to simply be ignored and be seen as "well until it's patched, go for it" thing. This is the most frustrating thing i've had in Destiny and that means a LOT, so please do not handle this as a "well if you got it you got it thing".
This is legit a turning point for my patience with the game.

I cheesed it because I didn't want to do all the work for it (it takes roughly 7 days to get the discounts low enough to be reasonable, and that's if I do all the bounties on all 3 of my characters). Bad Juju is a fine weapon, but not worth the week-long grind. Now if it was just locked behind a questline like all the rest of the Exotics we can earn, then sure, that's fine. Bungie made it a mad grind. Not into that shit. Gonna cheese for it if they let me. They did make my emote inactive so maybe that's the punishment?

So its okay that people are going AFK in the forges to "farm" mats to get the catalyst and emote but its not okay to use a second character to cheese the same emote and catalyst? How does this make any sense? Why aren't those that are going AFK on forges getting the same level of punishment? Its just a different method to cheese the same items. Still not acquired legit

1 ReplyOh grow up, dude. You were probably the kid in class who reminded the teacher that they didn't give out homework on Friday. Also, the people exploiting this bug don't have the actual triumphs in the hall. Just the number. So they'll still have to buy them if they want to complete everything.

4 RepliesI had to get the tributes and Bad JuJu the normal way, but I hope they don't fix this "cheese". Why should players have to suffer to get a weapon which is not even close to the likes of the Recluse. Why punish the rest of the community just because you are mad you had to spend the materials?

2 RepliesIt’s the enhancement core bug all over again. There’s a serious issue with your game if players are rewarded for exploiting and using bugs and doing it legit will result in a massive disadvantage that will never be made up for!

Discord crap. Destiny doesn’t fix or ban these individuals and promotes it. It’s bad enough this unlocking certain parts cost so much. It’s as if they want to deplete you before the dlc to force buying in game crap next dlc drop. This would be the reason many friends I know haven’t paid for anymore dlc and won’t. D3 will be a broke low player count game hyped by the scrub YouTubers they pay to market it. Gaming community needs to boycott to gain control back to stop allowing this bs. Random side note: Why is it each update the load in screen, inventory and all of it takes longer and longer. It’s in some areas as bad as anthem. Yet for Pc it’s instant. It used to be instant when it first dropped and now no way. Destiny rather bungie, get your shit together before your community is nothing more then these punk kids and you lose everything. To many issues these last years with your toxic community you cater to.

Farming materials to get a gun is no fun whatsoever. It is Bungie basically telling people that they can have the item if they keep mindlessly playing rerun content. With Outbreak Perfected at least we had a great mission to keep us interested. It was a challenge and it was fun. Completing this quest, for a gun that is not nearly as good as OP seems ridiculously labourious and time intensive. Bungie should give us content that we want to complete to earn rewards, not mindless farming. The Bad JuJu quest line is just ridiculous...almost makes me want to stop playing.

I dont understand how someone else decided to play their game and how to got their item bothers you so much that it tests your patience with the game, its doesn't make them any more or less competitive, they didn't get your item or emote, the resources used/not used aren't yours. Bragging rights for having X triumphs done? there are a LOT of them in destiny, knock yourself out. You got the 45 of them (legit or otherwise)? congrats, that makes you 0.000% more special than everyone else. I am not trying to antagonist you or anyone but this cheese is just salt in your/our heads, play how you want and enjoy it, forget about how guy X who you never met before and probably never will, decided to play, it literally has no repercussion to you besides a perceived slight to your ego, they have no advantage over you. And yes, i got mine the legit way, and i am more or less halfway to the catalyst.
