Purchased "Consult the Archives" emote before reset on July 9 and couldn't get to the rewards page to claim the discount because it was "disabled" (before the patch I guess).
And now there is no discount code on my Bungie Rewards page.
How so?

Hello Rinso. If you purchased the Consult the Archives emote before the reset then you should have an option on your Bungie Rewards page to Email Discount Code to you. Click the Email Discount Code and verify that the email listed on the prompt is correct. This will send a message to your email account. This message will have a link to click to get your discount code. Let me know if this helps you.

It's really disappointing, because of the regional prices for silver it's not a big save for me. And I got scammed of that 'discount' because rewards system was unavailable for like an hour or so. My code expired when I couldn't even claim it and that's totally okay?

Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought this was important to this discussion too. on the June 27, 2019 TWAB (https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47952) they said:
We will also be offering a new “Consult the Archives” emote in the Eververse store for all of you lore lovers out there. If you choose to purchase this emote in game and are signed up for Bungie Rewards, you can receive a 20% discount offer for the Destiny Grimoire Anthology, Vol. 2 Fallen Kingdoms. You just need to visit bungie.net/rewards and redeem your discount starting on July 2 at 10AM PDT. You will have until 11:59 PM on July 9 to redeem this limited time offer.
The wording of this suggests we had until midnight pacific to get the code, not the 10am reset time.
