You do know that nothing meaningful in your life changes whether to win or lose a game of Gambit, don't you? Just load into the next one and go again.

When I play solo, I take this approach. If people are not playing, there's more for me to kill. If I lose, oh well. If I play in a team, I expect to win most of the time.
-
Exactly.
-
Except it ruins the fun of the game which if I remember correctly, is the entire point of video games. So yeah, it would be an impact on someone. You sound like someone who afks in matchmade activities.
-
Yeah, there's lots of idiots out there ruining things for others. I just report them and move on. No need to stew over the issue.
-
Wrong. Your assumptions are false.
-
I try to win, obviously, but I don't care much if I lose in Gambit. You're missing the point, though. Win or lose, I'm still playing the game. Having teammates (or opponents) who are afk is just wasting everybody else's time who is trying to play.
-
I's not the fact of whether or not has anything at all to do with YOUR life changing crap response, but it has all to do with the person whom as to put up with your AFK lazy arse. Yes, with that response, you are guilty as charged, AFK much? *laughs* uh huh...ssssh.
-
Are you mentally ill??
-
lmao bet your one of the people doing it.
-
He has a point who cares and move on, i stopped banking motes and just invade. so what happens happens, i don’t care if i win because I’m probably doing bounties or the daily
-
Congratulations on having a completely personal and not universal outlook on something. Last I checked, your singular point of view is not the only experience people will have.
-
Lol so you're saying you're a big loser... well done.
-
I figured it out. That dude is one of those “pve” players that are “forced” into pvp. So to save their ego from a potential blow by being reminded that humans actually shoot back, they just afk the activity. You can’t feel like a loser if you never actually try! That’s the motto of the pve only player.
-
Yes because i dont care what happens
-
i don’t care if i win because I’m probably doing bounties or the daily
And this right here is what it all boils down to. The: “I’ma get mine” Guardian. For better or worse, this is the game Bungie has built. One that actually discourages team goals and team play. Things like objectives and/or winning are unimportant to a significant portion of our community. Completing daily bounties as quickly as possible, instead of letting them complete naturally through playing the objectives are the priorities. tldr: my daily bounties are more important than we, as a team, doing well enough to compete for the win.

it still sounds like it'd be an unenjoyable experience
