Regarding the future of the Crucible: Wouldn't it make sense for different playlists to have different ammo economies?
I think Clash, Control and 6v6 modes in general are pretty good right now.
But for example PvP modes with low player counts (Such as 3v3s),
would they maybe benefit from an ammo economy closer to what D1 had going prior to Rise of Iron? This would compensate for a lack of ammo sources and still not make the modes suffer from an abundance of certain weapon types due to the nature of smaller PvP modes. Or at least it would be condensed to that playlist.
For example competitive snipers could finally go ham again but leave the Quickplay list unaffected. Shotgun rushers could run wild in a more skilled and competitive environment. Rushing but always under the risk of encountering someone good enough to know how to shut them down.
Crucible Labs would be a good testing ground, right?
