How does having them in raids make sense?

No answer?
No answer?
As in you have no answer, or I have no answer? I'm don't know what you mean by that.

Edited by BraddyBo: 6/26/2019 1:55:41 AMYour post said that moving those raid catalysts would make sense, how? I dont have raid catalysts since i dont raid but the only thing that really makes sense is allowing ALL raid catalysts to drop from ALL raids, not moving them to a different (easier) activity.

My point is that Sleeper Simulant and Telesto are not raid weapons. It make no sense to tie their catalysts to raids. Legend of Acrius, being a raid exotic, is fine. It makes sense.

Edited by BraddyBo: 6/26/2019 2:24:00 AMYou might as well say ALL catalysts should drop from ALL activities except catalysts for raid weapons. That also makes sense which id almost agree with except that would screw over the people who farmed for the raid catalysts.

That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying that catalysts should be obtained from a source that is at least somewhat related to the weapons they belong to (in most cases). The Sleeper catalyst could have been tied to Escalation Protocol, since the Sleeper came from a quest on Mars. Telesto's catalyst could have been placed in Mercury heroic adventures, or in the Blind Well (lore-wise, Telesto is connected to the Awoken/Reef). And I don't see why anyone who farmed the catalysts would care. They'd have the catalyst months before people who didn't do the raids. I'm all for challenging activites having good rewards, but it is kind of silly to lock the catalysts for basic quest/RNG exotics behind a Prestige difficulty raid.

Because raids don't hold alot of sweet loot for raiders

Make better raid loot, then.

Catalysts in raids are fine for better loot Catalysts are spread throughout the entire game, I don't see how taking stuff from raiders is okay. We already only get gear once per character per week and seriously fk having to do a trillion more strikes
