Petition for Green, Blue, and Purple Solstice ornaments to be made Universal
It’s exactly as the title says. I think that the ornaments for the year 1 Solstice armour should be made into universal ornaments when Shadowkeep drops.
Considering the grind everyone put in for that armour, it would be nice to show off that gear without issues like the fact that it’s a set of inferior year 1 gear.
Not to mention that some of that armour is what I would consider some of the best looking stuff in the game, which I’m sure plenty of people can agree on.
EDIT: After seeing some suggestions in the replies, I think we should get ALL our year 1 ornaments as universal ones. Remember how we used to get seasonal ornaments from Shaxx and Zavala, and then that got needlessly removed and we’ve been stuck with the same stuff for a year? Remember the gear and ornaments from Trials and Faction Rallies? All that stuff looked great, and it’d be nice to have it back.

I think all the y1 ornaments should be made universal, factions, crucible, vangaurd, solstice, ib, all things we grinded for in y1 that haven't been up to par for y2. Or at the very least applicable to y2 and 3 sets from the same activities. That's the kind of thing that says to me that bungie isn't respecting out time spent.

I agree. That was a considerable grind and I did it for all three character classes only to have it obsolete a week or two later. I doubt I’ll do it again.

I was one of the few who grinded out 3 characters only for it to be useless 2 weeks later. I want them to be ornaments too.

18 RepliesI guess some players are either not smart at all, or very naive. D2Y1 is free since over a year now. So you’re asking Bungie to spend time and resources on some free content? One that is actually also under agreement with activision? It’s time you guys realize that the console and pc market is shit. That Bungie isn’t in a strong financial position anymore; in fact they are in a very bad spot right now. You like this game? Play it! You want to look shiny? Spend $$$ at eververse! You not happy? Go play candy crush! Consoles and pc games are just wasted money in the eyes of most investors. Single low digit growth rate or even contractions with high risks and delays, vs double digit growth rate with minimal costs, immediate revenues. I often read that Bungie’s playerbase is certainly the worst in video games at every level. No wonder dingue is heading in the dark when stupid requests get supported yet smart articulated ones get buried. Is this due to the timing of these posts? Are all the idiots logging on at the same west coast time?

any ornaments i would like really, we need something to spice up our gear, i would like some either stroke specific ones, crucible ones, u know some that drop for only doing certain activites
