I got to this really difficult portion of the quest.. the supers, melees and nades one.. in one match I got to 10, 15 and 10 percent. I really don't think 10 matches is to much to ask for this. Its a season long persuit not an afternoon grind session.

  • nope. its just that you need so many kills by super, melee and grenade and most people are not adjusting their play style, and using nades as an opener instead of a closing move. Many are finding they are getting 2-5% per match. Its about how you play, and adjusting to the bounty which so many refuse to do. They play a certain way and that is how they wil continue to play. shoot first, then nade, push players into the nades you toss, toss them on the control spots etc. I really don't think its to much to ask to have to play 40-50 matches maybe even more 75 to complete this full questline.

  • I understand and thanks for the update. For a lot of people though it IS too much to ask to play 40-75 matches even if you do change how you play. When playing starts to feel more like a chore than having fun that's when people check out. I did the same thing but will be back for the DLC in Sep. I too used to love playing IB as I'd also use it to level up my guardians, but the grind got to me. The recent nerf's sealed the deal. I did play a few games of Menagerie and enjoyed it, but I'll just keep playing other games until the fall.

  • That may be true, however, not every activity is intended for every play style, ability or even available game time to play. It may be to much for the guy that plays 4 hours a week but, still loves Destiny. That player has to choose what he or she does and make their time count. They can't expect to amass the same vault of weapons, armour, triumphs and game success as someone that plays 4 hours a day or more. IB is an endgame activity, even more so the first time it comes out every season as many players are grinding to max level and if they are way behind, have very little success against those who are already 750. Choices as to how we play, when we play, what we play etc. The game is moving towards a more hardcore crowd, more rpg elements, more choices more inline with a hobbiest requirements than someone who enjoys the game but, play 7 others as well. Nobody forces a player to play, to grind and to waste time on something they see little value in. Quests like this are built for a certain portion of the community. It keeps the community healthy.
