-Keanu Reeves
-Every Social media platform is shit
-r/politics is totally not biased in any way shape or form
-r/Atheism is a level headed subreddit not run by radicals
-r/dankchristianmemes is a better Atheist sub than actual r/Atheism
-I made a post in r/EntitledBitch and got 1.2k upvotes. Neat.

Made me miss Offtopic tbh. I attempted to move there, but I couldn't resist coming back.

It's generally described as one gargantuan circlejerk. A hivemind of sorts. There's some good content. But god -blam!-ing forbid you go against the grain. Also I think b.next has more character.

Reddit destroys every competitive multiplayer game out there

There's lots to be annoyed by on Reddit, but (and I realize this is damning with faint praise) it's always shocking to me how much higher the quality of discussion there can be vs. everywhere else* on the internet. /r/atheism and /r/politics have been laughingstocks ever since they were defaults (which no longer exist lol), but there are plenty of other subs that are much better for political and religious discussion-- and of course /r/politics on a bad day is Offtopic on a good day. *Tbf academic Twitter is excellent
-
yeah but unlike off topic the same posts don't stay on Trending for several days

Reddit is an entirely different animal than Bnet. The user base is so large it's entirely possible to spend months on the site and never notice the same user twice. And it's not a good environment for actual conversation because of the way it's structured. And yes, it tends to be an echo chamber in most subs. Although that's pretty common in any online forum. But it's an excellent place to get the latest news. Often times stuff will appear there before it even hits the media. Firsthand pics, videos, and accounts from people actually on the scene happen all the time. And there's a lot of community-driven events that make the place pretty cool. Reddit's secret santa and their "random acts of pizza" make me smile. It has its ups and downs. But it's certainly not a "replacement' for a more traditional forum like this one, if that's what you're after.

Keanu is literally their mascot as of current

Use it for memes. Nothing else

I spend 90% of my time there. It’s the main app on my phone that I use.

All of this is true, but Keanu Reeves and me and the boys will all eventually die Allot of the memes are from normies and all the mods ban the good users/posters so more normies sway

Edited by Latrodectus5002: 6/20/2019 12:21:33 PMLike most places on the internet, you get a lot of echo chambers, but there are some good subs. r/imsorryjon, r/blursedimages & r/interestingasfuck are pretty good ones.
Edit: r/askreddit can also make for some interesting reads.
Edited by cRaZyT101: 6/20/2019 1:51:23 AMI usually go on politics, warframe/memeframe, various emulation subreddits, imsorryjon, and other video game subreddits. Also history and some horror subreddits when I'm in the mood for that. Also obligatory fake miss yous.
